    More morons i see.

Gamboa at 126 slows down BIG time in rounds 7-12... It was proven in every fight he's gone the distance in and the most obvious was against Salido when he clinched and arm punched the majority of the later rounds showing sure signs of fatigue. The dude isn't exact a front runner, but he doesn't have that great a cardio either.

Coupled with the fact that his chin isn't the greatest, he's undersized, and would be moving up 10lbs and probably be outweighed by 15-20lbs on fight night (Rios hydrates as high as 155.. I dont think gamboa will weigh anymore than 140 on fight night if even that considering Anthony Peterson, who is a lot bigger than Gamboa, hydrated to 138 against Bam Bams 151. )

There's no way gamboa wins this fight or even gets close.

Rios knocks out Gamboa in the best of cases, and he brutalizes him before stopping him in the worst.

It is a major mismatch but would be a major boost of marketability to the more marketable fighter which is Rios. So I don't doubt for a second that both HBO who said they want as much and Arum who only follows the money would sacrifice Gamboa as long as his manager and team allows it.

A lot of people point to Gamboa's speed but they forget that he is at 126.... this is 2 weight classes above that. Gamboa gets hit a lot, we aren't talking about an Ivan Calderon here. He is very hittable and Brandon is very heavy fisted. There would be no glove change, 8 oz. So Gamboa's punches will feel either light or normal to Rios. While Rios punches will feel at least more momentous to Gamboa.

I agree with u guys,Gamboa does tend to fade at the later rounds, he also seems to fight like an amateur at times because of his experience on fighting so many fights as an amateur, u see he has flury of punches than he just stops as if he got points instead of just finishing his opposition! He needs to let that tendency go ! But Rios vs Gamboa wld be a good one! I like Gamboas strength in this one but boxing smarts and skills think Rios has the edge!ut quickness I give that a slight edge to Gamboa!

I don't think Gamboa would have the power to bother Rios. It will be a good fight whilst it lasts.

Gamboa can't be that reckless right? Going for a top guy in a division that he hasn't even competed in yet. Gamboa better watch out for his ass gets taxed.
