You people crack me up. How much has he generated over the past decade? How much has Mayweather generated? A 50/50 split is cool jusg to make the fight happen and give the boxing world what it wants and needs, but lets not get carried away.

Arum wants to hurt Mayweathers ego with PPV's but not match his fighter up with Mayweather either. Start the talks, Arum. May 5, Mayweather-Pacquiao!
terrell! pac has actually generated more than floyd BEFORE this PPV. . when these numbers come in, he will be a good bit ahead of floyd.

terrell! DONT LIKE ANIMALS! (haha sorry i can't stop repeating your old quote, just found it very amusing). . . but yes, i agree 50/50 is definitely the only way to go. .. LETS JSUT get this shyt done! i still say it's not a forgone conclusion; yes, floyd should be about a -275ish favorite, and pac at about +150, but mayweather does have a completely different style from marquez. . .

If the PPV Results goes over and above 1.5 Million, then expect next year another hit:

        1. Pacman vs Mayweather jr.

        2. Pacman vs Marquez 4th encounter

Some people think that the buyrates magically jump up because the fight was good or competitive or controversial.

Most of the cats on the site thought Mayweather-Ortiz was around 1.75M because everyone in America was talking about the fight when it was over. I will be amazed if Pac-JMM III does over 1.25M buys.

If Pacquiao has faught more than twice then leave the number game out of it. Both would do 1.1-1.3 million average every fight, right? So one more fight gor Floyd almost generates 10 million. So he has earned alot more over the past decade with less fights.
Pac fought 2x a year and still generate 1 million buys per fight. you cant say the same to Floyd. so its not a given that Floyd will generate 1 million buys if he were to fight twice a year. FACTS.. even Dela Hoya had never done what Pac has done in terms of ppv buys. Pac is the real PPV King.

King of boxing? even though he was given a win he didn't deserve he is the "King" of boxing? right, Floyd would destroy him

Don't you get it, Pac fans are trying to "take over" again. They are trying to restore old opinions and old sentiments. Now they are taking the ***** route. "Hope a huge PPV buyrate makes people forget what happened in the ring."

I heard from a Top Rank source that I'll leave unnamed, that this fight did more than the Mayweather-De la Hoya fight.
