I don't think he will be able to make 135 any more, I don't think he can beat Ortiz or Berto @ 147, I say he fights morales or khan at 140

Probably the most well thought out thread title I've ever seen. Really covered your bases.

I'd love a Marquez Morales fight at 140. I also would like Bradley Marquez.

Both very good fights, but Morales Marquez is the money maker anyway you slice it. WBC belt, Mexicans going, past history etc.

marquez has no business at 147.

only 147 guy he can probably beat is pac's dumb ass.

berto , ortiz , etc. too big.

too much to ask jmm to fight those guys.

pac can because he has speed and power and other natural gifts that give him advantages.

jmm would have to rely solely on his technique and that's not fair to him.

fight morales for a good payday or fight soto and rios. 135 or 140 if he wants.

147 is too much to ask.

Marquez should move back to 135. Maybe 130. The man has a hard time simply coming in over 132. Even though he looked impressive against pac it was Pac's 1 dimensional self which allowed him to. At this heavy a weight he'd be fighting at a disadvantage constantly.

Morales is going to make a bid for 135lbs Id like to see them ride off into the sunset exchanging leather at that weight. Or maybe one of them handing over the crown to a young up and comer such as Rios.

I'm I the only person worried that the same thing that happened to Roy after Ruiz would happen to Marquez if he went back to 135?

I mean Marquez bulked up for this bout, and with his age, he could actually hurt himself trying to lose the muscle mass and make 135.
