My take on the damn HW mess...

    1) Vitaly Klitchko...cmon man, I think you can actually fight...hell I take you over any other HW in the world but this Idle bull**** is getting to be too much...you deserve first crack at your old belt when/if you get healthy but enough is enough...someone needs to fight for your belt and if it cant be you then...sorry it cant be you.

    2) Rock...shut the **** up.

    3) A HW toruney? With John Ruiz, Lamon Brester, Hasim Rahman and Chris Byrd? People are actually excited about this?

I thought Rafeal Marquez was moving up to jr. feather and we were gonna see a tourney between him, Larios, Guzman and Vasquez? That a tourney I want to see!

Finally what happens after we crown a Don King Champion? What happens to guys like Wlad and James Toney and even VK if he is ready to fight? Do we get to watch those 4 in the tourney and maybe Golota just play musical chairs with the belts for a couple years?

For those who think this is good for the division...think again...Don King now owns the division and if you are a promoter with a fighter on the outside looking in (Toney/Goosen) your ****ed...becuase the only way you are getting into the mix is if you sign your life away to Don...

I would rather watch my brother **** my wife then sit thru this toruney...and...once it is over...we are gonna watch it over and over again!

**** Vitaly and **** those of you who are excited that he could not fight...just wait we are gonna see a round robin between four fighter over and over and over until you ****ing puke!

If you follow boxing, which judging by your posts is a 50-50 deal then you would no that there has been some talk over the last year or so about a tournement involving the four that I named...HW toruney, FW toruney...get it?

soooooooooooooooo...you would rather they continue ducking each other and fighting bums?

understand the reason people are "excited" about a HW championship tourney is so that they can...umn...how do I put this...

        "ACTUALLY FIGHT EACH OTHER...."

I am not saying it is the greatest of participants...but there is SOME reason to revel in the champs actually fighting each other

scap, how about Toney/Rahman and Toney/Wlad? Those would be decently interesting.

                Your 100% right...but...

Toney is on the outside looking in...do you think Don King is going to gladly once the tourney is over say here ya go James you get the winner?

Goosen has been with James Toney when no one else wanted him and the last thing he should have to do is sign over his rights to Don King.

Don King has co promoted James Toney in the past. He understands Toney's marketability and Goosen had no beef working with King.

I think this isn't as bad as your spinning it.

If Vitali won, chances are pretty good he would have played the stale mate game with King, and fought guys like Maskiev.

At least this way, a unified champion will be made, and in the end, that is what NEEDS to happen.

I may be a little negative/maybe not here but it will easily be 2007 before a guy like James Toney ever sees a crack at the HW title...hell it may be longer than that...

So if we want to wait a year at the minimum and probably 2 years before we see real compelling HW matchups then the tourney should be great.

Brewster is the only guy that I really want to see of the bunch right now, maybe Rock a little bit...waiting on guys like Byrd and Ruiz is a waste and Toney will suffer!
