Investigation on Top Rank!

So Arum had 2 years to pay people off. Arum is a rich Zionist *** who looks at all of us and his fighters as gentiles here to serve him and other Zionists. I thought Oscar won the second fight with Mosley. On the first week of January 2004, FBI agents raided Arum's Top Rank office in Las Vegas. Arum was on vacation when his office was raided, and the FBI originally declined to comment on the raid. The media reported that the FBI was investigating allegations that Top Rank was involved in fixing the rematch between De La Hoya and Shane Mosley, even though De La Hoya lost and Arum was De La Hoya's promoter. The federal agency also announced that it was investigating some of Eric Esch's fights, as well as the Jorge Páez-Verdell Smith fight. The investigation closed in the summer of 2006 with no charges being filed.Comment

Everyone on this site knows that I'm the furthest thing from a *****. It's well documented all over this website. I do like Marquez but not as much as like Pacquiao. I was pulling for Pacquiao the whole fight and the only thing that made me butthurt is his performance. Wake the **** up fool even Manny thought he lost.Comment

The only thing that was entertaining was Marquez's performance. If Marquez won by those same scores what would you be saying? There was no robbery on this fight...
If we were to use the betting odds that favored Manny heavily as a handicap, then JMM won no doubt... but that's not how boxing works.
We can argue who really won, but no one was robbed.
If anything, I don't see enough people giving this fight any props.
It was highly competitive and entertaining, more than Pac's last few fights and even better than May vs Ortiz.
May vs Pac May 5th, JMM can get his rematch in November.Comment

He did'nt run at all, he boxed. I can't believe how many manny fans are just that, Manny fans. You guys really don't understand the sport. It's like it was back in the day with Mike Tyson.Comment

Can't believe people having it close or for Pac. Saw the fight twice, first time I didn't scored it but remeber giving Marquez like 10 rounds. Second time I tried giving Pac the benefit of doubt and had it still 8-4 Marquez. My father was watching the fight overseas with 25 people, he told me nobody in the room had Pac winning. Despite the bias HBO commentary and Lederman's wild scorecards, which may influence people most of the times. I think it says a lot that not even HBO influenced the viewers in to thinking Pac won.Comment

If you think what marquez did was running you don't know boxing. Manny is very impatient and always want to brawl because he usually has the advantage doing so with his speed.
Lets again break it down quickly
1. Manny wanted to brawl
2. Marquez wanted to pick manny apart with cagy counter-punching/taking advantage of manny's mistakes.
3. Marquez forced pacquiao to box which made it advantage marquez and it showed.
True ring generalship if there is any. Manny had no answer im telling you the announcers on hbo are liars manny rarely landed ****. I can remember 2 good hard left hands the whole fight. I can remember 2 good right hands. Everything is was the pitty pat left pillowfist scoring blows which was rare as well and manny throwing combos in which he missed everything.Comment

I had it 115-113 for Pacquiao, however I can see a case for Marquez.Show me 7 rounds Marquez won WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT.
There were so many close rounds man, that's why this isn't a robbery. Just depends on what you like more in those rounds. There are rounds where 20 people could have scored it for pacquiao and 20 people for marquez. It was one of those fights.
Even with the luxury of different angles, compubox, ledermans input, instant replay and even the ability to rewind and rewatch the fight if have it recorded......it's still a tough fight to judge.
Yet despite all of this, judges have only one view of the fight and none of luxuries we as fans have. The outcry of robbery or corruption is ridiculous and unwarranted.
Look I'm not here to bash other posters or even argue for or against the scoring of this fight. All I'm saying is before people post, they should keep things in proper perspective (This is me speaking in general and not about one poster in particular)Last edited by Khalid X; 11-15-2011, 03:24 PM.Comment

If you listen to ledermans advice or look at the compubox stats you are not judging the fight. You are following the agenda hbo has put upon you. You fell for the trap. Cong****I had it 115-113 for Pacquiao, however I can see a case for Marquez.
