On the first week of January 2004, FBI agents raided Arum's Top Rank office in Las Vegas. Arum was on vacation when his office was raided, and the FBI originally declined to comment on the raid. The media reported that the FBI was investigating allegations that Top Rank was involved in fixing the rematch between De La Hoya and Shane Mosley, even though De La Hoya lost and Arum was De La Hoya's promoter. The federal agency also announced that it was investigating some of Eric Esch's fights, as well as the Jorge Páez-Verdell Smith fight. The investigation closed in the summer of 2006 with no charges being filed.

I have no problem with investigating Top Rank but for the right reasons. This was no robbery and the fight could have gone either way.

Investigate Top Rank's financial situation with fighters. I'd love to see how much money Bob Arum makes off pacquiao for example...

This was not a close fight at all. Just because HBO said it was and all the mainstream media says it was close does'nt mean it was. If you actually understand boxing the sport than you would understand that it was'nt even close. HBO did everything they could from having Lederman give obvious Marquez rounds to Pac. The compubox just does'nt make sense to what actually happened in the fight. It's not like this is the first time HBO, Top Rank, and Compubox has been put into question.

Show me 7 rounds Marquez won WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT.

There were so many close rounds man, that's why this isn't a robbery. Just depends on what you like more in those rounds. There are rounds where 20 people could have scored it for pacquiao and 20 people for marquez. It was one of those fights.

Marquez applied this in every round. So I guess by your outlook the judges must love flurries of missed punches.

There was no robbery on this fight...
If we were to use the betting odds that favored Manny heavily as a handicap, then JMM won no doubt... but that's not how boxing works.

We can argue who really won, but no one was robbed.
If anything, I don't see enough people giving this fight any props.
It was highly competitive and entertaining, more than Pac's last few fights and even better than May vs Ortiz.

May vs Pac May 5th, JMM can get his rematch in November.

Well fool we are the ones that make Top Rank exsist. If we did'nt keep paying for their shows weather it be live or PPV they would'nt be able to stay in business. But because most of you forget really fast and just jump on the next wagon they can continue to ****** us over and over.
