A guy can make decisions for a country but not for who HE fights?

I find it hilarious how Pacquiao, the congressman with hopes to run for President of the Philippines, has such a strong influence in a country yet supposedly has little to say about who he fights and about future opponents.

    Smoke and mirrors?

He's happy to sit back and pretend to be just a "fighter" and direct all questions to Bob Arum. How can people buy this crap? Of course Pacquiao has a say who he fights behind closed doors, he just wants all the low risk-big money reward fights out there and Arum knows this. Bob Arum will gladly take all the hate and direct it towards himself if it comes down to it, and the media will continue to paint Pacquiao as just a guy who will fight anybody his promoter will put in front of him. It's clear now that Roach, Arum, and yes Pacquiao want no part of Mayweather and will somehow try to spin this mess they're in right now.

typical ******* response. This thread doesn't even have to be about Floyd, insert any other big threat to Manny and it works just as fine.

He would not be able to be a GOOD Congressman if he had to also be a matchmaker at the same time. There's already way too many politicians who take politics only as their secondary or tertiary job. I'm glad Pacquiao is not one of them. This is ONLY really bad when it comes to making the Mayweather fight, since Arum and Mayweather don't like eachother. Otherwise, Arum did a helluva awsome job with Pacquiao.

            takes two to tango.

Yes, Pacquiao should be able to make that decision, instead he knows that he can easily play Bob Arum as the badguy because he doesn't give a f---.

Simple put, Manny is using Bob Arum as a scapegoat, instead of just admitting that they are not interested in a Mayweather fight.

all floyd has to do is say, "let's make the fight happen. i apologize for being a pu55y and i'm wrong in accusing poochiao a cheater."

that's all what it takes to make the fight.

any other fight for pac can come later. how can you even deal with a pu55y?

Unfortunely Manny has already ducked Floyd, did you see ESPN.

Manny wants no part of Floyd, and even if he beats Juan Marquez again, then he's gonna wanna fight Bradley first.
