What is this nonsense about Manny not looking good? MANNY LOOKED LIKE MANNY. He was fighting a fighter that didnt appeal to his fighting style. It funny how he went on to "greatness" after looking the SAME in the second JMM fight. But now, its time to retire? Manny was and is a VERY GOOD fighter. He's not a GREAT fighter. Welcome to reality.....

After saturday night, the *******s have split into two groups. One group is those who have now accepted the reality that Pac is up against it in a fight with Mayweather. Therefore, they're throwing out the Pac's over-the-hill nonsense in order to build in the excuse of faded skills to rational Pac "still" being superior to Mayweather should the fight take place and Pac take his likely pasting. The other group is made up of those still clinging to the hope that Pac is as great as they originally believed and he's still the one to end Mayweather's reign as the true P4P King of boxing. They are trying to rationalize their hopes with claims that Pac somehow tanked the fight with JMM to "lure" Mayweather into fighting him, claims that Pac wasn't at his best, claims that JMM is somehow superior to Mayweather, or anything else they can come up with. Face it, Pac is up against it if he ever fights Mayweather. Yes, he has a puncher's chance. But the likelyhood is that it would just like the JMM fights, probably worse. Mayweather won't have to be in Pac's range to hit him. So when Pac isn't punching, he's a sitting duck. When forced to be defensively responsible, he's a sitting duck. Its OK to be a fan. But, fans have to be rational. Can Pac beat Mayweather? Absolutely. If he does, will it be a massive upset? Just as sure as my handle is hitking.

The hating is getting desperate. The guy watched the fight a couple of times and changed his mind. So what?

I am a fan of Amir Khan the boxer, but definitely not a fan of Amir Khan the person. It feels like he is dragging Manny's name through the mud to get more attention to himself. Why not just tell Manny this privately instead of putting it out there through the press? I'll tell you why, because he enjoys seeing his name on headlines. I am getting a bit sick of him.

Sounds like someone is tired of being a Sparring Partner
How quickly we forget. Marquez won the fight but to say Manny is done is a tad premature. Its not Pacquiaos fault everybody, including Khan, picked him to Unleash Hells Wrath on Marquez. And why cant Marquez get some credit for making Manny look average for the 3rd time?? Once a fluke, Twice a coincidence, Three times a Pattern...MotherBastard. Just remember that after Pacman/MarquezII, Diaz Delahoya Hatton Cotto Clottey Margarito and Mosely all thought they had the blueprint too, and how did that turn out for those fighters? Delahoya even got Nacho to train him for Pac and still got smoked. EVERYONE has a gameplan, but against Pacman, nobody executes like Marquez. On Paper Mayweather should beat Pacquiao, but in order to hit Pacquiao you will get hit by Pacquiao and we all know Floyd dont like to trade. So Lets not take Manny to the Pasture just yet and just admit Marquez is one hell of a fighter. Viva Marquez

That said, I disagree with you on Pac not being great. Pac is an ATG. His combination of speed and power, to go along with tenacity and fighting spirit is a unlike we've ever seen. And his ability to climb in weight and be successful is unprecedented. Now I'm not ignorant nor gulible enough not to know that there wasn't some smoke n mirrors to go along with Pac's rise. But like the old timers say, if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. He should be commended for what he's accomplished.
