How many Floyd Mayweather Jr fights have you watched? Dude has the highest connect rate in the sport of boxing and you guys are talking about Mayweather don't strike back often as JMM? Making excuses as if JMM is a better technician than Floyd. Floyd will beat Pac's ass if they ever fought and after what Marquez did to him, that's what everyone else is saying that has some unbias sense. Everyone has an opinion but to say Marquez is a better offensive fighter than Floyd Mayweather Jr is just plain insane if you're a true fan of the sport. Pac got beat by a career Light Weight moving up that already got shut out at the weight class, while Floyd made it easy work. Floyd is bigger, longer reach, defensive and offensively accurate. Every punch he would throw would connect on Pac. People ain't even all into the fight like before because they know Floyd would beat Manny and Mayweather didn't even have to fight Pac to be considered better because that is how good Floyd is. Love him or hate him, when it comes to boxing he has serious skills. Pac had 3 fights and like 7 years to finish off JMM and couldn't do it. JMM was smaller than Cotto/Clottey/Margarito/Mosley. that just shows how done them dudes were compared to JMM. Pac didn't improve he just got the right fights at the right time.

floyd is a different fighter, though! marquez does a lot of things differently than floyd, and i don't care what anybody says - SOME aspects of the game marquez is better at WHEN MATCHED AGAINST certain styles. . . Mayweather doens't have the balls, so he won't let hte hands go like Marquez did; he won't TAKE THE FIGHT to Manny after a counter-punch - ike marquez did. . . Mayweather relies more on COVERING UP, Making poeple miss, and DEFLECTING SHOTS, whereas Marquez FIRES BACK IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT HESISTATION!!!

we hve never seen mayweather fight a guy CLOSE TO MANNY - whereas Marquez has. . All's Im saying is, lets not jump to conclusions here. . . Manny still has a lot more than a punchers chance against mayweather. . . but yes, floyd SHOULD BE FAVORED. . I'd put him at 2.5-1 odds.

I think Mayweather is a different animal to Marquez but saying that there was something missing about manny during that fight i couldnt put my finger on it he usually dominates !!!

A friend does just that. Pac looks bad. I wish someone had done it for DLH and mosley. He does have an agenda for his own pockets but it doesnt make what he said any lesss true or genuine. it did look like manny was lackadaisical in his fight with marquez; it's like he didn't really care. . . it kind of reminded me of how chad dawson was acting when he was fighting jean pascal. . . it's almost as if he places too much value on human life! (lol, like it's a bad thing). . . but he's accomplished so much, and has so much going for him, and he completely understands the brutality of the sport and risks you take - he doens't want to hurt himself OR his opponent. . . I don't know, it was weird. . . OF COURSE, Marquez had something to do with him being cautious. . . But I still feel like he didn't leave it all in the ring, whereas the old manny would have.

No. He just doesnt have the ability to blow out anything other than punching bags under the bright lights. Its not new. He fights the same way everytime out. Marquez is a better fighter. Dont make excuses for you all terrible miscalculations.

MW would definitely have an easy time beating Manny if they ever fight -- seems kile Manny has lost his edge in his last 2 fights -- maybe he sees boxing more as an avocation now that he has become a big time 'politician' -- not training as hard and not enough focus and resolve in the ring....

not suprised by khant's comments. Amir is a piece of ****, he wants pac to retire so he can get a faster crack at mayweather. Dont know why he is in a rush all he's going to do is make mayweather look like earnie shavers. One good lead right hand and money is putting khant to sleep.
