      A friend isn't a yes man either, something Pacquiao has too many of. Khan is being honest & looking out for Manny's best interest. Truth hurts Pacquiao fans!

        No, a real friend is the person who is willing to stand in front of you, look you in the eye and say..."enough is enough, its time to hang em up."

        If Pac has lost something, then It would benefit Khan most to allow Pac to continue fighting and get floored a few times...

              Shockingly the fighter who I felt had the most success against Mayweather Jr was Ortiz before he got cheap shotted. He was making Mayweather miss more than most fighters make Mayweather miss. And Ortiz landed a weird shot on Floyd that had Floyd fall back to the ropes and Ortiz then did the ****** mistake and headbutt him.
              I agree. Ortiz was taking it to him. Don't count out a Floyd Ortiz II rematch for may 5th. If ortiz beats berto convincingly in jan, then its inevitable

                I agree. Don't cound out Floyd Ortiz II for may 5th. Especially if Ortiz beats Berto convincingly again.

                  It's true though, even Pac isn't happy with that performance...

                    It would be huge, id be well up for that, id fly over to england for it.

                    I don’t doubt that khan vs mayweather at Wembley would be big and would generate large PPV’s, but I doubt it’d touch hatton vs mayweather. 30,000 alone went to vegas for this. and when you consider khan had to switch to primetime because sky thought he wasn’t worthy of PPV for the PM fight, you have to question whether the interest would be anywhere near hatton. Hatton was massive in the UK and I can’t see anyone getting anywhere near him in terms of popularity.
                    I agree beating the Hatton May numbers is a bit optimistic, and i doubt it would. But it wouldnt be far of. 3 things to concider;

                    While Khan isnt and might not ever be as popular as Ricky, he's still as well known. Everybody knows who he is. Whether they like him or not (and most do like him). Pretty much everyone knows Mayweather is the dogs bollocks and those who dont like Khan will pay to see him lose.

                    Mayweather is better known in the UK now than when Ricky fought him, and has a large number of fans too. There's a second face to the draw this time rather than Hatton v a guy who is meant to be the best in boxing
                    3 If its at Wembley, it wont be on a 5am like the Hatton fight, it'll be primetime which would generate more buys.

                    The Hatton Mayweather PPV sold crazy numbers here, and it might not ever be matched. But this would be damn close imo

                      He didn't have to say it in public.

                      To be honest, I don't think they're really great friends. How much of a friend can they be when Pacquiao doesn't speak English properly.
