Basically all Khan said was Pacquiao needs to either be dedicated full time to being a fighter, or retire while he's still on top. Nothing wrong with that, it's something Pacquiao absolutely needed to hear after the reality check that he's not invincible. Does he want to be a celebrity or a fighter?

I like Khan, he's a cool guy, one of my favorites, but a true friend wouldn't take this to the public. if you really cared, you'd do it behind closed doors.

smart move by khan, convince manny to hurry up and get out of the picture so khan can shine without having to fight manny haha. smart! how the hell can u guys based off a great boxer's retirement off one fight where it was a close fight. let the man defend himself in the next couple fights. if he still looks bad then yes its time to hang'em up but off this marquez fight u guys are saying he needs to retired?? WTF??? LOL.. im gonna be honest i feel marquez edge out the win but it wasnt no shut out, marquez didnt lay manny out so whats with this retirement thing. everyone have a bad night, let the man prove us wrong first before jumping the gun.

In times of storm, the only help real friends can do is defend or just STFU.
real friends are truthful with you, they dont stoke your ego but we know how *******s dont like hearing the real

i dont defend any of my friends when i feel they are in the wrong or disagree with them. and i EXPECT the same from them. if they disagree with me, let it be known and dont agree with me just to stroke my ego.

            thats not being a "friend"

I think Khan is exaggerating their friendship, but I do agree with him. Now would be a good time for Manny to retire.

He's definitely declined since the Cotto-fight, and he should've never gone into politics while still fighting. Haye retired too early, but most fighters wait too long. Now would be perfect IMO.

Mr Khan, we have to be honest. Floyd is not man enough until now. Floyd is a parrot bird "take the test" is the only words he learned from his father. When Floyd stop being a bird & become a man thats the time we will know who will win

Khan looks up to Pacquiao due to his success and respects him as Roach's star pupil, but I'm sure he's tired of playing second fiddle. Khan has the potential to be boxing's next superstar, and maybe become a PPV draw; he's probably just ready for Pacquiao to step aside so he can get his shine on.

If Khan wants to become a PPV fighter in America, he probably needs a PPV fight with an accompanying 24/7 against Mayweather or Pacquiao. I'm sure the two are cool and respect each other, but you can only be polite to someone who's standing in your way for so long.
