Marquez is not the better fighter, he is the better boxer. I dont think that MArquez could beat Cotto. Clottey, or Margarito. Styles make fights. When all is said and done Pac will still go down as the greater fighter. Just look at their resumes.

Pac is just a polished slugger with a tonne of speed, which is why he cannot deal with movement, and why he got cleaned up by a 38yo lightweight.

I mean, how could he possibly develop by fighting punching bags like Diaz, Hatton, Clottey, Margarito..... and by fighting cracked eggs like old shrink-wrapped Hoya, and faded shop-worn Cotto who was known to have stamina problems and was fighting at catchweight?

He would beat the version of cotto pac has beat...the version of cotto pac fought was a bad version..cotto came in at catch weight...cotto got whooped by margarito...cotto came to the fight with no proper coach..sandiago wasn't even ready to coach an amateur let alone cotto..he had no plan B in the fight..pac fought the worst version of cotto..everyone knows that.

Pac also fought the worst version of margarito...marga lost to mosley big time...marga has never been the same since they discovered his plaster wraps..he also came in at a catch weight..in the fight he looked very bad...he was slow and drained..every time he threw the jab it was so slow...

Pac wasn't even at welterweight yet. I honestly don't believe he could beat either of those fighters. I think they are to big and we wouldn't be able to deal with their size. The reason why Manny could is becuae he darts in and out, which Marquez doesn't do.
