Yep, getting punched in the face will do that.

      Fast forward to 8:39.

No biggie I do the same sometimes. I'm hoping we get Mayweather-Martinez.

erik morales WAS great, floyd mayweather IS great.
what seperates the two is time, had fmj have faced him when he (el terible) was undefeated at feather weight or super feather it may have provided floyd with a test from one of the best technical fighters in the moderrn game.
i think he still would have lost.
if this is true, i would like to hear fmj say hes gonna fight him then, and only then will my admiration for fmj quickly dissappear.
this would be a complete farce to say the least.
till now, floyd has only fought at elite level and erik morales in my view is finished.

Yes I believed he was approached cause Floyd has the tendency to fight someone whom he can easily beat. Mention the name Martinez and he runs like a duck kwak, kwak kwak..

Hey leadupperclit long time no see. You're still b!tchin' I see. While we're on the topic of getting punched in the faced. See the faces of Pac & Marquez and tell me who got riddled in the face alot that night. Pac only had stiches.

PS. don't bother to reply. I don't look back to my comments knowing a dog like you will always be sniffin' my a$$ all the time. And if you're wondering, I scored it a draw. Marquez stopped fighting in rounds 11 & 12 was his own undoing. Too bad, he could've won. But Pac winning is more justified than JMM winning, especially considering who is the champ and who is the challenger. I give Marquez an applause. I ain't surprised though. I know Marquez is a tough Hombre.

Morales was right when he said that this wasn't the Pac he fought during his fights with him. The Pac Morales fought was an unpredictable killer machine. And he is right.

Here is my thoughts about the fight:

I thought the game plan Roach & Pac had was not good at all. They have to remember their roots and what made them successful. This isn't the Pacman the destroyer anymore this is Pacman the Politician.

Pac's idea was that he thought he could beat Marquez at his own game, which is fighting a technical fight. Big mistake! Pac aint no boxer, he's a brawler. And I sware (cause I saw a shade of it during the fight) if he stopped thinking about outboxing JMM and start throwing wild punches making it a brawl, JMM has no chance to stop and think what Pac has next in store for a counter. Pac hardly threw combinations.

If Pac was a buzzsaw that night, I sware JMM might be winning by points but at the same time JMM will be hurting as hell especially knowing that Pac is stronger now. I think Pac had in mind beating JMM by points rather than go for broke attitude that made him great. I know that approach, go-for-broke, spells doom in boxing, hell no one can be successful with that approach but only for a certain level. However, Pac is the only one who fits well with that approach just because he possesses great speed, has great movements, and has an knack for hitting the right spots when throwing wild punches. It's how he knockdown Marquez in the previous fights, it's how he knocked down the legendary Morales for the first time, it's how he knocked down Cotto.

This fight should've been the same fight when he fought Morales II. He was losing by points, but Morales' face was like a pumpkin which bore the pain that was hard to bare in the end. If you wanna give some, you got to get some.

About Marquez stepping on Pac's foot to get a good shot? I don't by much into that, it's one of the tricks in boxing. As for Pac getting cramps? he will always have cramps especially with that huge calf he has, combined with quick agile movements. Face it people. This isn't the Pacman of old, this is Pacman the congressman. And that's that.

What a joke Floyd fighting Pacquiao's leftovers, give me a break!

Morales should fight Marquez if anything at all.
