If they do it fairly now at 143, that fight won't go the same way.
If you know anything about styles then you know it does.

A taller longer faster counter puncher vs a shorter, short range counter puncher.

Hmmm... Pretty sure it goes the same way..

Why not count in Floyds 2 year layoff?

Why is this not mentioned? Why does this not matter?

      Because it's self-inflicted?

At the end of the day Floyd didn't give Marquez a fair fight. He made him jump two weights and still stole more weight off him.

Let's face it, Mayweather doesn't have the guts to drop to 143 now and fight Marquez.

So Floyd losing THREE POUNDS would effect the outcome of him outboxing Marquez....

I LOVE how *******s just realized that triangle theories don't work because Pacquiao couldn't handle Marquez. But in the past, Pacquiao beating DeLaHoya and Hatton quicker then Floyd, was their evidence as to why Pacquiao would beat Floyd.

oscar, hatton, cotto, marquez were all coming off wins though. so was margs but his win was a joke.

shane was the only one coming off a loss or a draw.

i'm not to here argue whos better though just correcting what you said

It is not really a triangle theory if one is talking attributes that caused a guy problems that another guy also happens to possess.

For example saying fighter a beat fighter b and fighter b beat fighter c so fighter a must beat fighter c is a triangle theory~

Saying fighter a beat fighter b because he was able to exploit a range advantage and counter punching, and fighter b happened to beat fighter c because of range and counter punching. It is likely that fighter a will beat fighter c due to range and counter punching~ That is looking at evidence logically.

Because its self inflicted the fact floyd walked into a ring after 2 years and boxed the **** out of JMM doesnt count.

Thanks for exposing your bias, and I dont even like Floyd.

I will repeat Floyd fights nothing like Marquez.
I agree Floyd fights nothing like Marquez, he's faster, has better reflexes, is better defensively, very rarely gets hit and it's even rarer to see him on the canvas. I don't even like Mayweather but boxing skill has nothing to do with likability.

I thought Pacquiao might have had a chance but his new fighting style is doing him no favors. He looked confused against Marquez, I could only imagine how confusing Mayweather would be for him. He stands a chance if he goes back to his natural game, if he doesn't Floyd wins 12 rounds to 0. I think Arum realizes that, here comes Marquez 4 or Tim Bradley?? Bradley, that's a joke, or should be..

*** me there are ignorant morons on the board trying to save there fakes reputation , go read my posts and you will see Ive said about the CW fraud since Diaz and explained many times the whole deal about the CWs , ***en dude is a CW manipulating hype job only this time the CW slowed JMM down just like I said it would but the fake midget wasnt good enough still, so they had to rob JMM again to save the May fight , only now they blatantly ducking Floyd because they have no other option but put up or DUCK they chose DUCK ,,,,,, nothing but FAKES
Oscar's hand speed and timing was off even in the Mayweather fight. He was past his prime even then. he was getting nailed by Steve Forbes

The difference is Pac is not afraid to pick up the pressure and go for the knockout. Floyd was so worried about Oscar's left hook that he was extra cautious. The same with Hatton

Pac comes out with no respect looking to put you away. Totally different mentality.

Again if Mosley fights the exact style against Pac he fought against Floyd he gets knocked out

Shane was bold enough to throw right hand after right hand against Floyd cause he didnt fear the fire coming back.

He did not try that with Pac because he knew he would get countered by a shot that hurt him. He wanted to quit
