That is FKN ABSURD, every boxer used to need to know how to win off the back foot..... ring generalship is how you control the ring and the fight, regardless as to whether you are going forwards or backwards.
" more points goes to the guy that throws more (agression) "
Again, that is absolutely fkn ridiculous.....
You should damn near be deducted a point for unnecessarily expending energy and offering your opponent opportunities.
Missing is a fail, and so is ineffective aggression, end of story.
Go watch a Mayweather fight, and then try to understand how and why he is BY FAR the most accurate puncher in compubox history.
" backpedalling does not mean boxing "
When did Marquez back-pedal? His ring generalship was superb.
And, the American practice of scoring for the guy going forward, REALLY ***S ME OFF. Why the *** should I have to endure watching the sweet science being disassembled right in front of my guys just so that some fat yank, who would not know the difference between a bar fight and a boxing match, can enjoy his nights "entertainment".
The practice of scoring for the guy going forward was an attempt to encourage punch-ups rather than boxing match's, so that the sport would have more appeal to PIG-IGNORANT CASUAL FANS, who would not know a good fighter if he punched them in the face.
No offense meant to my American bro's, but *** that pisses me off, how mindless can you get. *** casual fans, and *** "entertainment", I want to see the sweet science, they can go beat up their wife and kids for fun.
Rather than spending much more time discussing this, because CLEARLY neither of us are experts..... why not ask the opinions of a few professional fighters that also saw that fight?
EVERY SINGLE ONE, bar NONE, that I have heard interviewed, gave the win to Marquez, including Pacquiao's own stablemates Khan and Chavez..... that tells a story bro.
all that matters is the judges gave it to manny
hbo loves manny and they called marquez out for being to conservative
espn is infatuated with manny cuz their bored with the usual...they actually think manny let juanma get it in a little bit to get floyd to fight...
manny still has his country to support him and about 50 percent of casual mainstream boxing fans
this post doesnt matter..ur post doesnt matter...none of anybodys post matter cuz in the worlds eyes thnx to hbo, espn, the philippines, and next generation boxing fans.....manny is a winner and gets the bbenefit of the doubt in a close fight in which he threw and landed more punches....case closed man

If Floyd does want to fight Paq now it is only because Paq struggled with JMM, if Paq had blown JMM out of the water Floyd would have already announced he is fighting a mexican fighter or gone on vacation.

A lot of people is claiming Manny lost the fight so now he's going to fight Marquez again to redeem his reputation. How's he avoiding Floyd. After he beats Marquez up once and for all then he'll fight Floyd. Stop making **** up you morons.Originally posted by tlarry View PostWhat's *** boy Schaefer whining about?!!? Take it up with your gutless, missing a pair, Mayweather. Pacquiao has waited 3 years! Manny claims steroids, then doesn't want Pacquiao training in the Phillipenes, wants to choose his drug testing facility of choice, while NOBODY makes those same demands. Pacquiao had said three times he'd take a Radom test, as frequently as needed. STILL didn't suit Floyd! Floyd chose to fight Marquez as opposed to an available Pacquiao. Following that fight, Pacquiao said he was available, would take the test, Mayweather then selects Mosley. Following that fight Pacquiao still willing and available, Floyd chooses to fight Rios. More recently he's used this May 5th date to fight Morales, rather than Pacquiao! So NOW that Floyd thinks Pacquiao is vulnerable after a war with Marquez, and they hear Pacquiao wants to secure a fourth fight with Marquez ahead of that May 5th date, NOW Schaefer acts like he's bent, and was ready to immediately line up a fight with Pacquiao!!! Sure!!! Where's Floyd been for three years? Trying to grow a pair?!!? It's funny how Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez, and even Khan in training camp, had NO PROBLEM getting in the ring with Pacquiao, and $50million can't lure Mayweather to climb in the ring with Manny. $50 MILLION has been on the table for 3 YEARS for Floyd, and he won't sign!!! All those other fighters mentioned got in the ring with Manny in a heartbeat, for a LOT less money; you didn't have to ask them twice. Not Floyd. Until now when they hear Plans are in play for a 4th Marquez fight, then they all scream, "they were ready"! LOL! Grow a pair Floyd. Nobody has made such demands and ran scared the way Floyd has. Manny doesn't need to sit around and play Mayweathers game.
you know that Arum made up the whole morales fight offer right? Floyd called out Manny something like a week and a half before the Marquez fight.
Also when did Floyd fight Rios (video/pics hell even a soundbite of this supposed fight please)
Your post is sooooo full nonesense.
Also Manny NEVER said he would take the full test (no cutoff date) at any point before Mayweather signed to fight Mosley. And actually Team Pac stormed away from the bargaining table, so who did Mayweather fight, just the #1 Welterweight who just battered and ko'd Margarito.
The signing of Pac vs Marg was laughable though I am happy the cheater margarito got his ass handed to him though I wish Pac would had knocked that ****er out!
