Why did Freddy say that Pacman needed to put Marquez on his a$$? Sounds like one of them things a trainer says to his fighter when he's behind, doesn't it?

He also told him after I think the 7th or 8th round that he needed to get going that he was behind in the fight. Look at it like this rounds 2-11 to me was all Marquez with two close rounds in there, I think round 10 and round 6, To me those rounds Manny could have won had he stayed active the entire round in both cases he would get off shots early in the round then just follow Marquez and didnt get anything going.

Why is it that I should or I am expected to give the Champion the benifit of the doubt when he is not in control? who made that rule that the fighter comming forward should get the round if its close?

I am all for the aggressor but when he is the effective aggressor, Manny did not land many clean effective shots through out, he was not the effective aggressor and his defense well let me put it to you like this, he cant stop that left uppercut right hand combo for ****.

Marquez set the tone early kept it at the pace and distance he wanted to operate from and he picked Manny apart all night. Manny just followed him and threw sloppy shots which most missed.

        It does.

I'd say it's because they were behind and was still behind when the final bell rang.

I must say I do find the "Pacquaio only reacted like he did because he didn't knock him out or put on a good performance"

Oh yeah, I bet that's why.

Enzo told Joe Calzaghe he needed a knockout to win against Bernard Hopkins between rounds, therefor Bernard Hopkins won the fight. End of topic.

Despite the general consensus, I feel that Hopkins has a legit arugment for winning that fight.

Obviously not as clear as this fight but still, Enzo didn't say that for no reason..

A lot of trainers tell their fighters that, even if they are clearly winning the fight.

Roach did say after the fight that he thought Marquez was winning the fight up to the last 2 rounds. That is most probably y he told Manny to KD Marquez, bcuz he indeed felt that Manny was losing or the fight was too close.

I have a feeling that wasn't one of those Emmanuel Steward telling Wladimir Klitschko he's losing the fight when it's a white wash moments.
