We're gonna act like Pac didn't demolish guys Floyd was scared to fight? (Cotto, Maragarito).

We're gonna act like Pacquiao didn't knock out MAB, crush him again, knock out Morales twice, make De la Hoya and Hatton look like they've never stepped foot in a ring before (and sent them in to retirement), make Cotto and Marg look like rag dolls, knock down and dominate Mosley, etc.?

We're gonna act like Pacquiao has just been cherry picking fighters, hand picking opponents or whatever.. BUT NOT MAYWEATHER?

We're gonna act like the ONE guy, a HOF'er and top P4P fighter currently that's proven to be his kryptonite, and is perfectly suited to neutralize Pac's style arguably beating him means that everything Pacquiao has done means NOTHING?!

Seriously when I came to Boxingscene I was expecting to see intelligent unbiased posts from people that know Boxing, for the most part.

Instead all I see is people with blatant Manny hate even more so then Floyd hate. You guys leaving Pacquiao off top 5, top 10, even top 15 lists now?! Are you ****ing kidding me? You need to never form another opinion pertaining to boxing for that blasphemy. You guys don't realize that you're just as bad if not worse then some of these clueless *******s.

I know most of you guys used to be Pac fans before this whole thing blew up too. And I can see how annoying it can get watching some of these *******s spew out some utter nonsense (some guys in the live thread had it 12-0 and 10-2 for Pacquiao?!) here and there but to discredit Pacquiao and everything he's done? C'mon...

And to call out Pacquiao for **** but letting everything for Mayweather slide?
    The bias is sickening.
truth hurts. why don't you guys just go back to philboxing where you can idolize your god and pretend he's the best

We are. We knew he was all hype for a while now. The difference between Marquez and the others he's fough in between, well you can see for yourself. He's all hype. He can get away with the things he was getting away with against fighters who's fundamental techniques leave much to be desired. It's easy to look impressive against a fighter who's just going to stand there and let you fire off 6 punch combos. Marquez won't do that, Mayweather won't do that, and Martinez won't do it either. I've long said that we will all see what kind of fighter Pacquiao is when he enters the ring with a skillful fighter. Skills pay bills. Ruthless aggression is entertaining, but at the top, it takes more than that.

Let's look at who Manny has fought the last 3 years.

DLH- weight drained and struggled against journeymen Steve Forbes, yes Steve Forbes in his previous fight. DLH was a dead man walking.

Hatton- this is a good win although Floyd already KO'd him

Cotto- ****** needless catch weight and Cotto was damaged after the Margarito fight, still his best win in years though

Clottey- just lost his last fight to Cotto and what has Clottey ever done, ho hum win meaningless

Margarito- another ****** catch weight fight, Margarito was coming off a suspension and a shaky win against the legendary Robert Garcia

            Mosley-

Marquez- people thought he would blow out the 38 year old lightweight, yet the general consensus seems to be that he lost the fight.

What is so impressive about this? Yeah his opponents have been bigger, but they were also slower and either past prime or shot and mostly came off bad performances. People hype Manny up for this run

Your opinions are your opinions, although it's hard to take them without bias seeing Mayweather Avi's and Mexican sig's in the people posting them. But all I'm saying is it's ****** to discredit Pacquiao for what he's done. Whether you think he looks good only against certain types of fighters or not, you seem to be forgetting how hard he dominated them. If being able to adjust in the ring is a skill which Pac has problems with, then being able to take advantage and exploit your opponents which he does masterfully is one as well. I could understand if he just eeked by these guys "taylor made" for him, but the fact is he made all of them look ****** and completely destroyed them. And these guys weren't nobodies, they were among the biggest names in boxing.

Lol you serious? The exact same thing can be done with Mayweather's resume. Oh Mayweather gets a pass just cause he's so skilled? You're okay with him not fighting the best fighters at the given time and opting to fight opponents that are all favourable to him for the past 10 years?

What's really so impressive on Floyd's resume? Last P4P he fought was Marquez who was in terrible shape for the fight. Last P4P calibre fighter he fought before that was Coralles. Again, the EXACT same thing can be done with Mayweather's resume (what you just did in your post)

Pac is all hype, and if he does beat Marquez cleanly next time, he still won't get credit.

What is he gonna do next? Wait until Marquez is 42?

defintiely not all hype. but i will say hes not what he was advertised as. ppl have been saying for years that he has been looking spectacular because of his opponents being tailor made for him. this was vindication. the fact is hes still the same manny from the 2008 fight with jmm. the one who has a hard time with any fighter who moves in any direction but forwards. i watched the fight. i dont think it was a robbery really but i will say is manny looked extremely lost and frustrated for most of that fight.
