I'm shocked that I'm the first one to vote Marquez.

Comes up in weight and beats the younger, recognized p4p #1.

Marquez all the way. Sat night's performance defined P4P.

The thing is Marquez got the L on his record and he also lost to Mayweather Jr at WW. Let's also not forget that Marquez whent to war with C level fighters like Michael Katsidis and Juan Diaz. Marquez style is great against Pacquiao but it doesn't mean he is P4P the best in the world.

i had pacquiao #1 before this weekend. Not because i think hes more skilled than mayweather but because of his resume.

Now i have floyd #1. Willing to listen to reasons why i shouldn't have him there.

The only reason against Floyd right now is that he is not active and fights just 1 time a year so he is more like a part timer. But as of right now is the only reason I can come up with.

I had Pac before this fight. But the only case I hear Pac fans can make for Manny now is based on technicalities. Such as "well Mayweather retired" or "Manny officially won on the scorecards" and stuff like that. Hate on him all you want but I don't believe anybody can subjectively say Mayweather is not #1P4P right now. How can that be Pac when in most peoples eyes he lost to Marquez and would be the underdog vs Mayweather.

4. Mayweather
5. Martinez

Manny still number one. He would beat the **** outta Mayweather. Manny did not even train hard for the fight and still won. He would have knocked Marquez out had his legs not cramped up. And yes Mayweather beat Marquez but that's because he had a 20 pound weight advantage, so I have Marquez above Mayweather, and Manny beat Marquez 3 times so until someone beats Manny he's still number one get over it
