right and name one fighter who admit that his opponent won? marquez is not the only fighter in boxing history that got robbed by judges. is it manny's fault that the judges pick him? people is putting the blame on manny when all he did was go in there and did his best. By manny saying he's not happy with the performance and that he wants to do it again shows to u that he knows what really happen, but u expect him to come out and and say it? atleast he is honoring a 4th fight unlike some other bad ending from a previous fight where the suppose winner said he will give a rematch then went back on his word.

Dude... to be fair, most fighters admit defeat... they rarely admit it post fight. SRL admitted that he may have lost to Hagler in his book after he retired.

a disappointing performance from pacquiao was still a win in most unbiased peoples eyes though.

i have a hard time seeing anything less than 7-5 pacquiao to be perfectly honest.

After three fights it's obvious these styles will always end in controversy.
In order for one of the two to make a definitive statement they will require great risk, recklessness and luck. FOr either one!

I don't see either fighter being that reckless, risk-taking, or lucky...at least against each other. They want to win more than they want to prove a point.

As such, this matchup will always end up in a decision by the judges.

This fight outcome is fairly easy to see...although marquez was the consumate counterpuncher, he failed to press the action enough to impress the judges. That was his downfall.

Pacquiao pressed the action more, landed the harder looking shots, but failed to press it further to outgun marquez.

Now, for either to do what needed to be done to convincingly win would require, like I said, recklessness, luck, and risk-taking.

As far as Marquez being the common opponent between Pac and mayweather, the reason I believe Mayweather did better was because he was able to out-counter the counterpuncher. In that fight, Marquez was more the attacker while still being a counterpuncher, playing right into Mayweather's hands.

Sooo.....yeah, that's the way it is. No fourth fight needed as it will always be controversial between these two styles.

                      sure, why not

keep em fighting until no more "controversial" decisions
