  • Had to be doing it intentionally - it's a way to nullify Pac's in-out-in tactic that his footwork allows him to do. We've seen it time and time again in Pac's fights..

As soon as Marquez lunges forward and ****s the right hand (slower cuz he bulked up, older too), Pac would see it, spring back out of reach. Marquez would then be out of balance, Pac jumps in and makes him eat a combo.

Stepping on another persons foot is one way quick way to jack up your ankle and one adjusts quickly. Obviously, Marquez didn't adjust - lol.. Check the first two fights, no blatant foot stepping at all. Definitely something from the bag of tricks.

What crybaby JMM and his crybaby fans don't want it because they feel that the judges are against them??? Then KO him like he said he was gonna do.

P.S. Remember when Floyd said he'll give Ortiz a rematch? LOL
" Pac DEMANDING an immediate rematch " is proof that Pac knows that he lost..... he wants to set the record straight.

Now initially I thought that was great, that is exactly what was required in 2008, an immediate rematch, and I gave Manny props for doing so..... but just stop and think for a second, and lets deal with the facts.....

An immediate rematch is a terrible idea for Pacquiao, WTF ?

FACT: Pac could not beat a 38yo lightweight who was disadvantaged on the scales.

FACT: Pac will NEVER beat Marquez decisively, because he cannot, end of story.

I ask you this..... what could possibly change, that would enable/allow Pac to perform better in a rematch? Before you answer, consider this.....

      * Marquez is now confident at the weight
      * Marquez has had a real good look at the " new " Pacquiao, and he had no problems..... there were no surprises or secrets
      * The better fighter will make the better adjustments, and the better fighter is Marquez
      * Marquez now has bargaining power, and does not need to roll over at the negotiating table. He may even get the choice to fight in Mexico

What could possibly change, that would enable/allow Pac to perform better in a rematch?

Now, the following is not fact, nor even my opinion, these are just comments that I have heard from other posters that I am juggling around, as I try to rationalise why Pacquiao would risk his stock dropping even lower by taking on a guy who clearly has his number?

IF, Pac has been using enhancements, and IF, he is now preparing for Mayweather, and IF, he was clean for the fight against Marquez, because he thought that JMM was old, faded, and ineffective at welter, like everyone else did..... then is the adjustment that Manny OBVIOUSLY needs to make in order to effect a change in his fortunes, to juice up for the rematch?

I ask you again, if NOT steroids, then what change could Pacquiao possibly make that will enable him to finally get the Marquez monkey off his back once and for all?

Again, that was not fact, nor was it my opinion, and there are a lot of "if's" in that scenario..... but what the hell else can Manny do that will reverse his fortunes against a man who clearly has his number?

A better camp? Nope, that camp was the best ever according to Roach.

Better sparring partners? Good luck finding someone who will imitate Marquez well enough to condition Pac to his style.

Breakthrough adjustments in style? Come on, get real.

What could possibly change, that would enable/allow Pac to perform better in a rematch?

Has Pac thrown his toys out of the cot, because of the sheer number of Pacquiao fans who publicly stated that he lost the fight?

Is it..... "*** Mayweather, and *** Marquez, I gotta get this guy off my back if it kills me, I cant have this hanging over my head for the rest of my life, that little bastard will follow me to the Philippines again..... lets go back to what worked, and we will worry about Mayweather later"?

NOTE: The only facts in this post were clearly labeled accordingly, so consider that before you reply pacfans

FACT: Pac could not beat a 38yo lightweight who was disadvantaged on the scales.

FACT: Pac will NEVER beat Marquez decisively, because he cannot, end of story.

      These are the questions.....

      * What could possibly change, that would enable/allow Pac to perform better in a rematch?

      * Why would he take such a risk against a guy who clearly has his number?

And, after you had tried that ploy with me once, assuming it was in the first round, what would you do for the rest of the fight once I adjusted?

You..... wouldnt be a pac fan would you ?

Go and watch any southpaw fight any conventional fighter before you fly with such a ridiculous theory.

        Absurd, and badly reaching.....
