If Marquez had been given the the last two rounds he still doesn't win

On the 116-112 card he was given the 12th round. Giving him the 11th on it as well would only make it 115-113 for Pac.

On the 115-113 score card he was given the 11th round. Giving him the 12th on it as well would only make it 114-114.

He was going to get robbed no matter what.

Maybe he shouldn't have backed up all night and moved forward more. He's been asking for the rematch for years but when given the chance all he did was backed up all night and countering PAC.

That's like saying that he should completely change his style and brawl like all the previous opponents of Pacquiao...

true. jmm promised to win decisively. man, how can you win decisively when all you do is counter and back up the entire fight? simply impossible no matter where you look at it.

he came not to win but defend his behind.

it will all be like this for the rest of pac's career.

his opponents will always fight to survive than to win.

You expect him to walk forard and take shots from a snger harder hitting man? You must be dellyusional. marquez never retreated he kept the fight at a mid distance and took pacquaio apart. He was the one throwing combinations and answering every missed pacquaio punch withy asublime combinations, and brutal body shots.

But for all the criticism of pac because most people expected him to blow out marquez and let it get competitive...noone seems to be ****tin on marquez for leaving it in the hands of the judges.

he vowed from the signing of the fight that he was gonna go for the knockout and leave no doubt but when it came to crunchtime he was content with the oscar delahoya approach vs trinidad against pac.

So he can claim robbery all he wants but he and his team are left with the realization that they failed to seize a golden opportunity.

This post is for the people saying that JMM lost the fight in the last two rounds.

The scorecards prove they are wrong.

If you feel that all Marquez did was back up all night then that is a different argument....but I would honestly have to question what fight you were watching.

dude, he's the challenger. you won't impress the judge by counterpunching most of the fight. you go for the kill after catching your opponent every time.

do you know why pac comes for the ko in the middle stage of his boxing career? he also felt robbed in one of his earlier fights.

that's the way to win decisively. he's the champ now, so his opponents need to do the proving.
