Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya believes Juan Manuel Marquez defeated Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao won a close twelve round majority decision to retain his WBO welterweight title. The scores were 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112. De La Hoya's company works with Pacquiao's main rival, WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who dominated Marquez for twelve rounds two years ago.
