I knew that people would execrate Cotto for this. People completely disregard margaresto's clumsy effort to misdirect with talk of the red part of the wrap. No one referring to the red except margaresto. Cotto wanted the answer to the gauze on the middle knuckles and margaresto insisted that he could not see anything wrong with it.

Enthusiasts of the sport lament the passing of great boxers but often enough hope to see death or at least someone willing to die in the ring. What he says doesn't mean Margarito wants it more because Cotto's been saying that for years to the PR papers even before the first Margarito fight and he is right he is prize fighter and boxing its his job. He is payed to hit other men in the face but he also gives everything he has to the fans and gives them their money worth because Cotto is almost never in a boring fight and Cotto also knows that he can't lose this fight because all future big paydays go down the toilet if he loses.

Cotto wants this win badly don't get fooled by any comments Cotto will do anything to win on december 3.

The fourth round was also even up until that massive left uppercut that Pacquiao landed. THAT changed the fight. Second knockdown, not the first.

He didn't go into FULL RETREAT until the eigth or ninth, and even then, he WON the 10th round on TWO of the judges' scorecards.

Cotto showed glimpses of success even when he was getting his ass handed to him.

He will not quit against Margarito. Taking bets everywhere...who wants some? 2 to 1 odds Cotto doesn't quit against Margarito.

I agree with your post but actually Cotto was winning the 4th round easily before Pacquiao put him down and the 5th round was also a Cotto round. So when you look back at it Cotto won round 1, was close with Pacquiao in round 2 and 3, dominated round 4 until the KD, won round 5 and won round 10.

it sure looks it but its not, if it were then we wont see a rematch, no commission will knowingly license Margarito under those circumstances.

But get this no matter how tuff the fight gets, no matter whats on the line in the end, Cotto will not give his life for the win, he has kids to think about....

Pretty lame for HBO to have Kellerman question Cotto's heart and commitment just because "he's not willing to die to win a fight". Cotto answered it very well, no fan will take care of him or his family if something happens to him health wise.
