Floyd officially retired in 2007. And when I mean officially. He wrote an official letter to the Ring magzine telling them that he will be retiring from boxing.. And Pac was number 2, so he took his spot. If he wants that spot back then he has to fight Pac, or wait until Pac officially loses, while trying to maintain undefeated himself...

Sergio is great, yes, but he still needs a larger body of good wins to overtake Manny or Floyd. Given the fact that Floyd came off 16 months of no fighting, and was clearly beating Ortiz, in his prime coming off big wins, and that Pac just struggled to a controversial decision over a past prime Marquez, where Floyd had dominated him, how can anyone say Floyd isn't #1???

Martinez is great, but he didn't fight anyone all too serious in 2011, truth. If he can't get the fight with Pacquiao or Mayweather, he should fight Pirog or Macklin, or start pushing for fights with Super Middleweights like Andre Ward, Carl Froch, Arthur Abraham, Andre Dirrell, etc.

For the record, not taking wins and losses into account, I actually think Andre Ward is better than Sergio and probably Manny. That guy has some serious skills, and he'd out-box Calzahge to a decision win, sorry.
