martinez would have been #1 if he would have fought Winky Wright you cant duck reasonable fights im sorry it makes no sense. Money has nothing to do with it, he is not fighting top dollar fighters. Mayweather called Wright out and ...... Paul beat the brakes off of Wright and escaped Martinez similar to how Floyd got away from Castillio back in the day. Difference is Floyd didnt fight him again +/- and Paul did it for the sport and yeah he got ko'd but he did it for US.
