  • For Marquez, the win was within reach going into the final round - and the entire reason he did NOT get the win was, unfortunately, not what Pacman did as much as it was what Marquez himself DIDN'T do.

Marquez came out for Round 12 and basically did NOTHING in the FINAL ROUND!! Stunning, really, that he didn't come out and go "balls to the walls" crazy on Pacman - Marquez NEEDED a great showing to close out the fight, and instead he chose to go into "cruise control" and get outworked by Pacman when it counted most - right down the stretch.

In my eyes, Marquez has only HIMSELF to blame.

    • People, let me say this. Both Pacquiao and Marquez knows there is NO OTHER WAY to CONVINCINGLY win but to have a KNOCK-OUT. Knock out didn't happen, so...

The Pacquiao camp never runs out of excuses , for every loss and bad performances there is an excuse : Wrong gloves , wrong shoes , wrong socks and now leg cramps .

Maybe, but that is NOT how you compile an ATG resume my friend

Pac definitely had NOT achieved traditional greatness before the highly controversial win/loss to Marquez in their second fight, and he has done nothing since.

Pac is a terrific fighter, and he looks great against an over-matched opponent or against the right style, but there are plenty of terrific fighters around who can look good against a particular style.

Lets face it..... Margarito/Clottey/Hatton were just exhibition match's, Cotto was well-faded, highly vulnerable, and they tried to drain him down to 143..... and the shrink-wrapped Hoya was a dead man walking.

I have been very vocal in questioning Pacquiao's supposed "greatness" when considering his opponents, and this proves that I was correct in doing so.

              CORRECT !!

              Pac-fans need to smarten-up.

While Manny's fan-base will happily pay to watch Pac fight some little old lady, then they will simply have to continue to content themselves doing so.

Pacquiao has a ready made market, that does not happen to be very fussy when it comes to boxing.

So Marquez has to win 10-12 rounds in order to win 7 rounds on the judges scorecards. No wonder he can't win.

No, they said the same thing after the Mosley fight.

Manny gets leg cramps whenever he is fighting an opponent who decides to use movement

                  • Pacquiao has had leg cramps as his excuses for the boring Mosley fight, and the loss to Marquez. Why not hang em up then? If for every time you look bad, you're gonna blame leg cramps, what's the point of continuing to fight? Mayweather's gonna beat him, and Pacquiao/Roach will say it was leg cramps.
