idk why everyone is saying JMM got robbed, the way i see it, if u clearly won the fight like Erislandy Lara did vs Paul Wiliams, then its a robbery....like it or not, it was a close fight, no other way around it with a lot of swing rounds, since there was a lot of swing rounds, its entirely possible for a judge to score the fight 116-112 for pac, i think it was a draw 114-114...i could see an argument being made for both fighters...and yes, the judges couldn't give JMM the fight cuz they would jeopardize the mega fight that is pac vs mayweather, that being said, its still not a robbery cuz it was a close fight

That fight is the closure. I have come to accept that those two just cancel each other out.
If I was in a playground and saw two kids fighting, obviously the one named Marquez won it.
But this is Boxing. Winning by points is just one of those that gets you a W. Marquez failed to win by points.
Now if Floyd wants a piece of Pacquiao after seeing this fight. Pac's camp is waiting, call 'em now! The whole world is waiting for your chicken**** reply.
I still think Pac whoops Floyd's chicken ass.
Point Maid!

(1) anyone who is claiming that the decision was a 'robbery' are delusional -- it was a close fight that could have gone either way or declared a draw, which is how I saw it -- JMM simply didn't do enough for him to talk about being robbed etc.
(2) Manny looked just plain awful for most of the fight -- inept, ineffective and even amatearish at times -- kept bouncing around like a bobblehead doll to no purpose, missing wide open shots and spending more time pulling up his trunks than trying to mount a sutained attack.
(3) I've seen anough of these 2 fighting each other.
(4) If Manny fights like this against MW (if they ever meet), MW will take him apart, piece by piece.

After 36 rounds together, the only thing that Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez have proven is that they know how to stir up debate.
For the first time since his last showdown with Marquez, pound-for-pound king Pacquiao was made to look human in taking a highly disputed majority decision in their 12 round main event Saturday evening at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao weighed in at 143 lb, one pound under the contracted catchweight of 144 lb despite his alphabet welterweight belt at stake. Marquez was slightly lighter at 142, but slightly heavier in actual ring weight once the fight began.
Over the course of the entire 12 rounds, the third leg of their much-talked about trilogy didn’t live up to its predecessors, though don’t tell that to anyone among the sold out crowd of 16,836 on hand. Whenever either fighter threw a punch, the crowd erupted into a frenzy. [Click Here To Read More]

Khan's fight with Maidana
Khan's fight with Maidana was more controversial than this one. He was supposed to lose to Maidana when he was cornered and unable to answer back the punches.

Will you please ALL STFU? The Judges have spoken. Too bad for Marquez, the judges didn't favor his counterpunching wait-for-pacquiao-to strike-then-strike-back style. They favored Pacquiao's let's-get-it-on style. So you think being a challenger, you can just wait for the champion to lead the dance? I guess this fight shows you that if you want to win, you have to be aggressive too. Don't blame Pacquiao for winning this fight, he just fought as well as he could, though he looks very ordinary with his performamnce, it was a performance nonetheless. Blame the judges if you feel they judged this fight wrongly.I guess if there is any good to this fight, it has shown that the Philippines is willing to call **** when they see it. And right now, Filipinos are actually very polarized on their opinion, and in fact, I would say it's a 50-50 split. Half of the nation thought Marquez won too.
