Well in the WBC eyes Gomez has earned his right and so has Rahman and Vitali keeps getting hurt, so something has to be done.

Thats true. However, I don't think the WBC is going to do anything. There is just too much money involved in the Vitali vs Rahman fight. Its going to happen eventually. No one knows who Gomez is, so I don't know who would sign up to promote that fight.

However, while sparring in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, Klitschko reported the knee did not respond to either medical treatment or the use of the brace. Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank and Tom Loeffler, managing director of K2 Promotions, announced that Klitschko vs. Rahman will be rescheduled. A new date, Arum said, will be announced next week

Like I said, he doesn't need the money, and being injured is no fun and he would rather not risk his career and fight with an injury. The irony of this injury is that some people joked around that he was going to get injured and postpone the fight because he is scared of Rahman, and it ****ing happens. Unbelievable.
