Whats the big deal, the fight is still going to happen. Why would you want Vitali to retire, so that Rahman becomes the champ by default? Yeah, thats really a step up for the heavyweight division.
What does HBO do now after all the promoting?

the fight will just be rescheduled, however, i'll just wait to see what happens by next week.
seems like too many people have too much free time, and jump all over **** without much more than surface knowledge of what is going on.
just give it time folks.Comment

Yeah this is just getting ridicolous. A week before the fight and you get injured. He should have had a tune up fight after all and just told Don King and Rahman to **** off.Originally posted by JDub79Are you crazy or what dude?! TIME!?! It's going to be over a year now we have waited for this guy to fight! It's put up or shut the F**k up time. I like Vitali, probably my favorite heavyweight, but come on man, STAY HEALTHY!

Like it or not but that fight between McCall and Gomez was an WBC eliminator, just make the fight and get it over with because V.Klit is not healthy enough to fight and it's starting to get old already.Originally posted by rizHAHHA bad blod u seious
JC gomez biggest win so far is oliver mcall lolComment

Well I'd say Maskaev vs Sam should be, and is for the WBC international title and WBC Heavyweight Title Eliminator for the #1 Spot, the fight. Rahman vs the winner if Vitali is not healthy enough.Originally posted by badbloodLike it or not but that fight between McCall and Gomez was an WBC eliminator, just make the fight and get it over with because V.Klit is not healthy enough to fight and it's starting to get old already.Comment

The winner of the Maskaev/Sam fight is supposed to fight JC Gomez and the winner of that fight is supposed to fight the champ. But this injury stuff is getting old already and the WBC should go ahead and strip Vitali and let Rahman and Gomez fight, when Vitali is healthy enough to fight, he should fight the winner of the Maskaev/Sam fight and the winner of that fight should fight the champ. How bout that?Originally posted by enadeusWell I'd say Maskaev vs Sam should be, and is for the WBC international title and WBC Heavyweight Title Eliminator for the #1 Spot, the fight. Sounds good. I don't know if Rahman would want to take a risk with Gomez. Anything can happen, and he has a 4.6 million dollar pay day if he fights Vitali, and he needs that money desperately because he is in debt for about 2.5 million already. So my guess is Rahman will wait it out. The WBC is usually fair. If Rahman was really a man he would take on a big money fight against Brewster instead. Gomez is a very small heavyweight (former cruiserweight champ however), so I don't think Rahman vs Gomez would be any different than Rahman vs Barrett. Boring fight.Originally posted by badbloodThe winner of the Maskaev/Sam fight is supposed to fight JC Gomez and the winner of that fight is supposed to fight the champ. Well in the WBC eyes Gomez has earned his right and so has Rahman and Vitali keeps getting hurt, so something has to be done.Originally posted by enadeusSounds good.
