He can kiss a rematch with Khan goodbye. Khan isn't going to give him a chance now that he's gotten stopped.

Don't you dilute the uberness of my name with your inane, womanly postings. I disown you.

      Both fighters did themselves proud.

Why do you people respond to my posts when the posts above me also say the same thing I just said?

Why don't you call the people above me who posted out too? Why is it just me? Obviously I'm not the only one who feels Prescott should have been given a chance to either survive or be KO'd.

If Nady would have let him continue and Prescott would have had been seriously injured, brain damage, etc, all these idiots claiming it was a bad stoppage would be saying, "He was clearly gone, Nady should have stopped the fight."

Prescott stopped throwing punches and was using Alvarado to hold him by leaning on and grabbing him. The uppercuts he was taking were no joke. It was a good stoppage.

That was an incredible fight...Alvarado is very tough and would give Khan a good fight.

Alvarado looked like s**t the first 5 rounds, but he won rounds 6-8 clearly winning the fight on the inside and winning by trading shots with Prescott. The 9th was close, neither man did much. I had the fight, 87-85 Prescott going into the last round.

Why is ANYONE bi*ching about the stoppage??? He had knocked him down, and he hit Prescott with 5-6 punches and Prescott wasn't coming back with anything, and was just leaning forward to prevent himself from falling over. Good stoppage, when a guy is not returning fire for almost like 10 seconds and getting hit non-stop with punches, stop the fight.

Prescott looked as good as I have ever seen him the first 5 rounds, Alvarado's peak-a-boo style was s**t against a good boxer. He needs to take ALL of his fights to the inside, and trade and let his hands go, otherwise he'll get whooped by a guy who can box.

Great win for Alvarado, looking forward to seeing who he gets next.

That was a fun fight. Pleasant surprise on a otherwise pretty crummy undercard. Good stoppage too. Tough way to lose for Prescott but it was the right thing to do.
