It was Prescotts own fault for losing that fight that would have put him right back in the mix, for one he didn't pace himself from the jump wasting a lot of energy in the 1st round and then wasting punches throughout the fight htting Alvarados gloves, I don't know how many times I said out loud take a round off and use your fkn jab prescott there was no excuse prescott had a 5inch height advantage, and then in the 10th rd he was foolish enough to try and trade with what was a 170 pd fighter in Alvarado. Just ****** but the last and final mistake he made was getting right up after the knock down instead of just taking a knee for a 9 count and gaining what was left of his composure. Foolish but the fix was already in anyway not once did the ref check on alvarados numerous gashes but the second he saw prescott in trouble he stops the fight in the last minute and a half of the fight, if thats the case than khan should of lost to maidana cuz he was just as hurt as prescott was in the 10th but that's politics in boxing for u. Prescotts an ok fighter but its not like he was on his way to becoming the undisputed p4p champ of the world or anything which is why he was sacrificed to a undefeated alvarado.. he would of ended up getting robbed like marquez did anyway

Alvarado proved once more that sometimes a Mexican heart beats all odds.

Good fight and ok stoppage, although because im a fan of prescott as well I would have liked to see him go out on his shield because he was winning the fight. People can say what they want about Breidis but the kid is a fan friendly fighter who was putting on a good show. Ya he should of sticked to his jab and worked on the outside but he made it a fight by choosing to stay on the inside. I felt bad for him when he fell to the ground in disappointment, you know this dude comes from nothing and he was just trying to make something for him and his family. Hes not done though the McCloskey fight was bull and this one is worthy of a rematch down the line. Prescott still gives alot of people trouble he is a good boxer-puncher and was showing really good movement in this fight. He just needs to fix his stamina and he can still make some noise its not like he was brutally KOed or anything.

Mad props to Alvarado dude got heart he was getting outboxed thoroughly and never gave up stuck on the inside and eventually broke Prescott down. Those uppercuts were nasty, id really like to see him vs Bradley because I think he would hit that pumpkin head all night long with those uppercuts. If he steps in with Khan though id have to favor Amir just because of his superior boxing skills compared to Mikes and of course his speed. Dont think he would KO him though would be a hard fought UD.

Prescott's own fault for losing?? Sorry but Alvarado is the reason Prescott lost. Prescott was BLUDGEONED with a hammer in the 10th and out on his feet. Alvarado went to the body and Prescott, tiring, lowered his head and leaned forward, opening himself to head shots and that is how you break down a taller fighter. Broke him down and knocked him out, period.

Some of these a$$holes on this board need to credit Alvarado instead of b1tching about a correct stoppage. Alvarado was the better fighter.

Mike Alvarado would beat Bradley. Bradley would come right into Alvarado's range and the power difference would surface. Alvarado would slowly wear down Bradley and then take him out late. Bradley is overhyped and even ducked Khan because he wanted to fight Pac. So how does fighting Cassamayor equate to more money than he would have made fighting Khan?

No wonder Khan don't want none, but Prescott needs to work on his stamina.

Alvarado looked like he needed a blood transfusion after the fight. That tenth round ending makes it a fight of the year candidate.
