I've never liked Prescott. Think he's a bum trying to milk his one big fluke to get paydays but tonight he impressed me and I actually felt sorry for him at the end. Oh well, RIP Prescott's Career 2008-2011

Good stoppage. These are human beings in the ring.

0-2 in his last 2. Doesn't look good for prescott. Somewhat feel sorry for him....

Prescott was beaten by the better fighter, period. Alvarado was breaking him down and bludgeoned him. Prescott would have been carried out if the ref had let him take more flush, head ripping shots. Alvarado is the goods.

I loved the comeback, I thought Alvarado was done for in the middle rounds.

IMO this fight was better than the main event.

Fuck Jay Nady, he robbed Presscot.
I agree, that was a bad stoppage. Presscot was not out on his feet. Yes, he was eating uppercuts. So what. There was a minute left in the round, and I have a feeling that Alvarado was nearly punched out. Presscot would have survived and won the fight.

Not surprised though, Jay Nady has a history of disgraceful reffing.

LOL, Prescott would have won on the scorecards if Nady wasn't jumping in so quickly to stop it. If that was Gatti, they'd let it go on. Mike Alvardo's entire face was bloodied and he was probably choking on his own blood, and who knows what brain damage he took tonight. Yet, we didn't see Jay Nady stop it when Alvarado was hurt and beaten to a pulp on his face.

LegendofLink - dont be ******. Alvarado was never out on his feet, Prescott was. He couldn't even stand at the end and would have been laid out flat and carried out if the fight had continued. Prescott was tiring and lowering his head into Alvarado's range and Alvarado nailed him. Prescott was done by the end of 9.

They were awesome. Alvarado was moar awesomer.qq. He ****** up that monster uppercut in like the 4th round(?)and though he started to bleed like a big ol' codfish waitin' for the header, it turned on the lights.

After that I was tellin' my non-boxing-fan friends that he was setting up Prescott for the big KO and he got it done with that series of wicked uppercuts. Turnabout is fair play.

                      Best fight of the night.

Would love to see the rematch.
