Wolak-rodriguez was mad dope, either round could have went to any of the fighters, hence the draw lol....but i wld hold off on saying cotto vs margarito II because its looking like NYC wont give Mararito his Liscense. In that case its gonna be Cotto vs Wolak, whick i cld see being even better and a late FOTY steal

Wolak would stomp a mudhole through Cotto. They better let Tony fight, because I'm flying to be at that one.

that was FOTY for 2010. . . 2011 it's gotta be rios/acosta. . . fight was executed at the highest skill level with the most exciting ending (a KO). . . maidana/morales was good but it was limited to spots - mostly it consisted of maidana outworking morales. . . wolak/rodriguez was good, but no KD's, and neither fight was ever in any real danger of being stopped, aside from wolak's eye. . . and, i think rios/acosts was EXECUTED AT THE HIGHEST SKILL LEVEL - and there were huge periods of two-way action and VICIOUS exchanges.

That was in 2010, Morales vs. Maidana was definitely good but not FOTY in my opinion.

Linares and DeMarco was pretty good. I also enjoyed Murray Vs. Mitchell as well which could have gone either way.

That fight was always a matter of Murray getting knocked out. Mitchell is a lot better than Murray - he wasn't even at his best and he still showed it.

But I agree, it was an excellent action fight.


I was thinking DeMarco-Linares as an honorable mention, too.
