    • In his Twitter account, Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach also addressed the issue.

"Marquez was consistently stepping on Manny's foot, could that cause cramps?" LuckyLindy21 asked Roach.

"No, very common when southpaws face right handers," Roach responded.

      • The excuses continue to mount. Smdh. If u guys are so adamant about a victory then why all the retrospective studies in order to figure out pacqs performance?

        • Manny wasn't off his game. Manny wasn't distracted. Simply...

Manny will always have problems with a patient, skilled, counter puncher who doesn't just stand there and cover up or run away.

Manny was the same, quick, strong, powerful, well conditioned Manny that we've been seeing in recent years. The only difference in that ring was a more skilled opponent than Margarito, a more durable fighter than that version of Hatton, a more determined fighter than Clottey, a more controlled fighter than Mosley, a healthier fighter than that version of DLH, and a better defensive fighter than Cotto.

Manny wasn't uninspiring, he was the same. He was just in with a more inspired opponent with a skilled fighting style than recent welterweights he's fought.

          • The Most Watched Robbery on TV - 43.2 MILLION Mexicans were the witnesses!!

The fight got 31 points on TV Azteca (Free TV), but at one point it peaked at 36 points of rating.

The number of people that watched the fight was of 43 million 200 thousand people when the rating peaked at 36 points, taking into account that 1 point of rating means 1.2 million of viewers.

"Los puntos más altos de rating que vivió la pelea registraron hasta 36, lo que significa más de 43 millones de personas viviendo, vibrando, con el triunfo negado que tuvo el ‘Dinamita’ en la ciudad del juego y ahora también reconocida como la ciudad de la estafa",

It was the most watched boxing fight in the history of México, beating for the first time the 30 points of rating.

The Pacquiao-Margarito fight, had that record with 27 points of rating, the Canelo vs Hatton fight had 23 points.

TV Azteca was hoping to get 30 points for this fight.

Great boxing is doing awsome here in Mexico, take that Dana White, a shame the most watched fighted in the history of Mexico had to have that outcome. But controversy sells and everybody is talking about it and ejoyed the fight.

But well now Marquez is looked by the people of Mexico as a Martyr and we idolized Martyrs... so he finally got his well deserved recognition!.

              • JMM can sell his own ppv on his own now. He should tell Pac to suck it and stop running from Mayweather. Why bother getting robbed a fourth time?

                • And Pacquiao makes into the Guiness Book of Records again, category "The most watched robbery on Mexican TV". Even haters make threads glorifying Pac LOL!

                  • Im rather shocked at the poll results. To me this was clearly Marquez's worst performance. Not that I have an issue with him winning, I had it a draw. But in no way was this a robbery. And I had Marquez winning the 2nd fight and a draw in the first.

Marquez landed the more eye catching shots, but ultimately failed to do enough and truth be told there wasnt a whole lot of weight behind his shots either, despite their accuracy.

Ill try rescoring and try to see what others are seeing later when the fight comes on replay. I think its just people getting caught up in their emotions and surprise at seeing Marquez do so well, and not scoring it on a round by round basis. Also, I think people automatically assume that when Marquez threw combos all of them landed, which wasnt the case, or not realising how cleanly some of Pacquiao's darting shots were.(which is why Marquezs face was more ****ed up).

Yes, it happens at times but not always. If it happens once or twice, it can be considered unintentional, but if it is happening consistently, then it becomes highly su****ious. Marquez was caught doing this five time times on video, how many more went unrecorded?

Question, could this acts from Marquez caused Pac to lose some speed and timing, both in offense and defense?
