But, the fact that over 100 people genuinely believe that Pacquaio won this fight actually scares the **** out of me.

But I really got that impression. And its not just the fact that I picked Pac to blow him out, and it ended up being more competitive than I thought... It was literally from actually watching the fighters...
When u look at Marquez's face, he looks like "OH GOD, PLEASE LET ME GET THROUGH THIS... COME ONE, JUAN U CAN DO THIS... YOU CAN DO THIS..."
When u look at Pac's face, he looks like "I wonder if Jinky's making adobo today? Meh... While I'm thinking about it I might as well throw a left or two..."
He just looked disinterested. And by the way he fought, he looked like he was holding back MASSIVELY... What happened to the guy that threw 100 punches a round? Where'd the killer instinct go?
I understand Marquez had some pretty good defense, and made him miss... And did a decent job making him pay in some rounds, but he really just seemed physically outmatched... I still feel like if Pac wanted to KO Marquez, he could have... It just seemed like he didn't want to...
It was body language and facial expressions that make me feel that way... Not hate, so kill urselves if u think that. There was a certain point near the end where Pac looked frustrated (becuz of Marquez's style, or becuz he wants to destroy Marquez but had to hold back... I'm not ruling either out)
I have 2 theories...
He either wanted to to carry Marquez so the people would get their money's worth... Everyone knows most (or at least a lot of) people found this to be a pretty BS fight, so Bob probably told him to carry him, not blow him out so everyone could get their money's worth.
Or for a similar reason, except instead of merely giving the people their money's worth, he's trying to make Floyd think he lost a few steps... Trying to bait him in agreeing to the fight... Some people on here seem to think Floyd is clearly the superior fighter based on last night... U think he'll fall for it?
What do u guys think?
Try and give a valid reply... No crying and wining... Give me reason why u disagree... That should be easy since I'm "on drugs" or "******ed" right? I mean, what r the odds that u guys r the ******s and thats why u can't see the signs
As to what happened to the dude that throws 100 punches a round, well, he disappeared when someone that was actually still semi decent came to fight rather than a walking dead corpse standing still waiting to be punched.
How many punches a round did he throw against Marquez in their last two fights? Was it 100 per round? No.
Anyway, honestly, you are a bit ******ed. Pac tried to outbox the better boxer. He has become used to outboxing people instead of having to outfight them, and suddenly instead of his opponent just walking in to punches over and over with no head movement, he had someone who was not going to follow the usual game plan and it made him struggle.
The simple fact is that he lost the fight. He didn't know what to do and he did get frustrated because he couldn't just punch away as if he was in the gym on the heavy bag. He had a live, albeit mightily disadvantaged in every way, opponent who was properly skilled.
Imagine if that was the Marquez of there 1st or 2nd fight? Would have ****ing pwned him.
Seriously though...I can't tell if you're just a ****ing complete ****** **** or are actually serious, in which case you are a few cards short of a deck. However, one very, very, very, very, very simple thing should stand out to you and that is: A fighter can't carry someone who is beating them.
If he wanted to carry him, he would not have done it to a loss. He would have done it to an easy one sided UD or to a late, one sided KO. If he did carry, which is simple mindblowingly ignorant if you truly think so, he is the ******est **** alive because he carried himself to a sad looking loss against a 40 year old lightweight he made come up two divisions.Last edited by BennyST; 11-14-2011, 09:06 AM.
