He most certainly is overrated. I feel bad for the prospects that have bought into his hype.

He himself said that if he didn't have pacquiao he wouldn't really be anything special as a trainer. Though that is humble, it is also the truth.

3 times now Marquez schooled Pacquiao in the fine art of boxing. The last time worst than any of the last. And this time Pacquiao trained extra hard his conditioning was the best ever according to both Roach and Ariza.

MArquez was the challenger, if youre challenging the champion for his belt you must with all you can try your best to wrestle it from him. A challenger who only waits to counter and just be contented with waiting for the champion to try and take his head off will never win. what Marquez only proved is Pacquiao cannot knock him out because of his better counter punching-defensive skills. If Pacquiao, with all his known aggression and attacking style wasn't able to knock marquez out or down this time, well it shows marquez skills as counterpunching-defensive fighter but it doesnt mean he bested pacquiao. remember that pacquiao was defending his title, pacquiao should at most "DEFEND" it from marquez however the latter was not doing what hes supposed to do, "take away the belt from Manny. on the other hand its pacquiao who brings the fight to marquez like " you want my title? ok here knock me out". bottom line if manny wasnt able to knock marquez down or out, Marquez just the same failed to do what hes supposed to do that is try his best to take it from manny. he was not even there to defeat manny but only to survive manny without being floored. well compared with the past two bouts, he may considered that third an accomplishment so he should be happy with it and his payday.

Why cant people just accept the fact Marquez is a great fighter and knows what to do against pacquiao? Just because so many people for whatever the hell reason didnt give Marquez a chance doesn't mean roach sucks or manny sucks it simply means Marquez is made for pac. He is Ali's joe Frazier.
