to me it a close fight but marquez clearly won with his boxing.

he completely outboxed pacquiao and stalled his aggressiveness the majority of the time.

i agree jmm stalled a lot of pacs advances, but that doesnt win you the fight alone, you have to bring the fight to the other to win! and pac showed this with his aggression and punch connects. jmm had the heart but not the confidence to take the risk and bring the fight to pac.
