i thought the fight would be an abreviated one...but it was not...

i think pac won just by the mere fact jmm stopped short of winning it...

jmm was very close to it....

in a fight so close to go either way, the agressor, specially if he is the current world champion would likely get the nod of the judges...

a challenger has to really do well in a very convincing manner or be dominant before he could snatch a title from the incumbent champion...a ko would have left no issue

Explain how Pac won their 2nd fight then? Marquez was champ.

Watching is on crappy stream, I had it 115-113, Marquez.

Rewatching it on HD replay, I had it 116-112, Marquez.

If you gave rounds 8,9, and 10 to Pacquiao you don't know how to score a fight.

That decision was disgusting. I can't believe they robbed Marquez again, it makes me sick.

It was seriously the most one-sided of all 3 fights. How anybody gave Pacquiao more than 4 rounds is a complete mystery to me. The 4 rounds which I gave him, weren't even so much due to his ability, but Marquez's lack thereof in those 4 rounds.

The rounds which Marquez won on my card, he utterly dominated at least half of them with crisp counterpunching and ripping combinations, backing Pacquiao up, and visibly hurting him.

Boxing took a major blow lastnight...

On a very very big stage, Marquez-Pacquiao III was gonna be a big fight,
For big fight fans and casual fans.

And that result really added to the stereotype that "Boxing isn't what it used to be," or "Too much politics in boxing now."

How anyone can try and argue who won that fight is beyond me,
How anyone can honestly say that don't think there is something fishy going on behind closed doors I don't know.

I'm not one to cry "FIX!" But after lastnight, I am lost for words.
As a big boxing fan, I am also upset and disheartened that sport I have loved all my life has gotten to this stage.
That us fans, don't matter anymore.

Marquez is a warrior and a true champion.
He has Mannys number, simple as and I think he always will.
I'm not gonna hate on Manny but he was outclassed.

Lastnight was a sad time for boxing.

JMM won rounds 2-7 that's 6 straight rounds and with no KD's pac would have to win every round remaining to keep it close but JMM took a couple more and put it away easily. The judges obviously got paid and need to be investigated.

Then they have the gall to call for a 4th fight lol. If they thought they had won they wouldn't be calling for a rematch with JMM. If Marquez is smart he will protest the decision and move on to fair fights. Because they will obviously rob him a 4th time if he does it again.
