RJJ should have been fired a long time ago.

I never really cared for Jones as a boxer, but I actually like him as an announcer. Although I kept waiting for either Larry or Jim to make some comment about the fact that both guys in the ring were facing each other after brutalizing RJ, then asking him how that feels to watch the two fight each other. I absolutely can't stand Manny Stewart as an announcer I think he would be ok except for when he says the word "pahticuller"(I know its spelled wrong). for example "Roy Jones looks like he is going through the motions in the fight tonight Pahticullerly in that last rd." Just watch one of the fights he has done and try to count how many damn times he uses the word! Anyway **** these animal rights activists they are the same people who would fire bomb a humane society building because they euthenize dogs and cats. Them and PETA can both go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned, like any of them are boxing fans anyway.

Roy Jones is an excellent commentator.
Anyone who thinks George Foreman was better, doesn't know enough about boxing to realize that 90% of what George said was utter bull****, fantasy stuff.

I'm against ****fighting.....but I don't think it should have any bearing on Roy keeping his job at HBO.
Do these PETA people really believe that HBO boxing will suffer because of Roy's participation in ****fighting ?
        I hope they're not that ******.

Roy Jones is a good commentator. He breaks the fight down very well. Larry needs to go. I think the only reason HBO has him is to kill time. And lord knows he can do that.

The roosters used for the sport would kill each other if they got loose, it is what they do, it's not that you have to train them - they do it on their own any damn way! It's called nature, now - on the other hand - getting pit bulls to fight is cruel, slow, and torturous to the animals, however, the ****fights are fast, and are usually over with one stick from the attached footwear on the roosters.

For the SPCA or PETA or whoever to say that Jones should be fired for doing something that is legal is absolute bullcrap, they have nothing to do with boxing, or HBO or announcing a boxing match - I'll tell you what is cruel though - "donkey shows" in Mexico - now that's cruel, I mean damn, have you seen how ugly those girls are that the poor donkey has to **** everyday! Call the SPCA!! That is animal abuse for sure!!

Its impossible to be an excellent commentator and cheer for a fighter during a fight.

                  No, they really shouldn't.

I wouldn't want to have to hear Max's annoying voice talking about how Zab Judah is the p4p best in the world, how Spadafora would outbox Roberto Duran, or how Roy Jones would embarrass Ray Robinson. Let him stay with Fox Sportsnet and call Sam Soliman and Robert Allen fights.
