Netural thing to say on your part but if Floyd was really afraid to lose his "0", he wouldn't continue to fight as he has nothing left to prove and is the greatest that ever did it according to him.

He risks that "0" every time he steps in the ring with the champions that he has been fighting. Just like Hoya, Hatton, Mosley and Ortiz, they where all threats and Champions in they're respected weight classes.

He risked that "0" every time he got in the ring with them. After the fact of course people like to re-write history.

However, if Bob wants this fight. It will happen, he's been doing this for decades. People are giving Floyd way too much credit if they think he could stop Bob from doing a job he has done his entire life. lol That is just silly. Bob is the one that will make or break this fight.

If you have been around the sport long enough you would know that no fighter is a threat after the fact. Too many people like to judge after the fact when it comes to Floyd. Just read my sig.

Now, the problem people have is no matter who Floyd fight's, he WILL be the favorite, including vs Pac. In fact you won't find any fighter from 140-154 that Floyd would not be the favorite to win in. This does not mean they are not risky fights though.

This is where people get confused and think that everyone he fight's isnt a risk just because he IS the favorite.

Again, if Floyd was worried about losing his "0", he wouldn't keep fighting as he feels he is the greatest and has nothing to prove and if wanted to play it safe he wouldn't be fighting Champions back to back.

I think the guy said the risk is "too high". Of course any fight is a risk, nothing is guaranteed. A bloated marquez, an aged mosley from a long lay-off, an over rated dumb ortiz? Are those high risks? And I believe Floyd came back to fight Pac and still mantain his "0" but after a coming back and saw how Pac dismantled Cotto, whom Floyd arguably ducked, Floyd is now thinkin "O crap, what have I gotten myself into".. then came the peds accusations.

Bob knew this years ago when both Mayweather and Cotto where undefeated JWW's and both under the Top Rank banner. Bob protected Cotto from Mayweather just like Bob protected Mayweather from De La Hoya...

Hold on there! Never have I said in any of my few posts that Mosley nor this JMM3 bout is a legit threat to Manny. You may have mistaken me for another *******. I wanted this JMM3 coz on my card Manny won the 1st by a point, and JMM won the 2nd by a point, dead even IMO.

BTW, it's not how Cotto would have faired against Floyd I was pointing out the way Pac beat Cotto is what I believed made Floyd think twice in fighting Pac. That is when the side of Floyd started making accusations. And I firmly believed Floyd came back to fight Pac, but that was before Cotto fight and days before (if I recall right) Hatton was brutalized in 2 rds.
