Why can't Bob Arum respond in a positive way to Mayweather's comment like Pac has?

Arum has been telling the press that Mayweather finally show up in court for the Pacquiao defamation suit. Things are looking a little bit more positive, but I'll believe the fight will happen when both of them enter the ring on their fight night.

Mayweather said he didn't need Pacquiao either. Both of them have huge egos. Pacquiao says it because the way Mayweather acts. Mayweather says it because he's appalled he couldn't do what Pacquiao did.

I posted this yesterday when I saw it live, I was sure he might have been referring to Arum when he said I hope "The promoter" doesn't have a problem with it, But with Paq's English it's difficult to know if he meant exactly Arum

The reason one would think it is Arum;

A) Arum does not really care to make the fight
B) Arum does not like Mayweather
C) If Pac was referring to Mayweather's promoter, he would have just said Mayweather and not promoter

If Bob responds specifically to Pac's comment on this, we all know it was defiantly directed towards Bob.

The chances of Floyd losing his 0 is too high.

Pac is afraid a loss will damage his political career.

Yeah hopefully. The problem seems to come from his promoter. He needs to man up and tell his promoter that the fight happens with, or without him involved. If Manny really wants this fight, he can buy himself out of his contract with Top Rank. We need green lights. Not Bob Arum making excuses.
