    Kirkland actually has some slickness...I can't believe I...

    ...overlooked this before the fight with Angulo. I mean, sure...the video here was before his 1 and a half year layoff but with Wolfe he seems to show a little of that again.

    I think back to his fights against Vera and Julio and even then when he was coming forward and destroying them he had some slickness.



    Go to :50 seconds and look at that...

    I completely underestimated him. Again, it's not just that. His fight with Vera I remember when he was actually standing still and dodging shots by Vera.

    Of course he does, he wouldn't have made it this far if he just squared and plodded every fight. James is a good fighter, under rated boxer.

      James has always had good head movement & is very good at slipping shots, he just neglects these things at times.

      One thing I noticed in the Angulo fight in particular was his jab! As soon as he started using it, Angulo had nothing. Anne's really brought his jab on excellently.
