It's funny because promoters are supposed to work for the fighters and do what the fighter says and not the other way around. Arum has been in charge of Pac's career for a long time and that's why the fight has been so difficult to make. Bob Arum has been able to do deals within hours and mins but he can't seem to get the biggest fight of the sport going? Come on! Pac is probably not even juicing because he hasn't fought and beat someone that was regarded highly and has had weight advantages alot lately. I think the blood tests were an excuse for Arum to not make the fight and blame Floyd. BUT if Floyd is really so adamant on Pac taking the tests then it may be something going on that we as fans don't even know about because in my opinion if Manny was really that good and juiced out of his mind then he would be putting that juice to use by beating actual prime opponents and not having suspect fights like Clottey and Mosley.

exactly what i'm saying. why can't floyd simply go to arum and agree to fight manny now that according to arum, testing is no longer an issue?
he's his own promoter right? he's his own boss. so what is stopping him from calling Bob and calling out his bluff of there no longer being any testing issues?Comment

Margarito? Come on man. That dude is lunch meat. Pac could not even handle Mosley's footwork, evasiveness and I'm supposed to believe that Pac will dominate Floyd? Pac don't even use defense and gets hit by slower guys then himself and Mayweather is fast if not just as fast as Manny. Joshua Clottey barely threw a punch and ****** up Manny. Floyd has the highest connect rate in the sport and is the most accurate fighter. Pac absorbs too much punishment to be that fast and supposedly that good. I mean anything can happen in a fight but IF this fight EVER happens Floyd is going to beat Pac up. Floyd's style is a nightmare for Manny. Stamina, defense, footwork, aacurate, counter punching....... Manny likes his opponents to come forward with no defense so he can out speed them. In my opinion he would be lost in the ring with Mayweather. Pac could not even cut Mosley off and shane wasn't even fighting.Comment

floyd singed it about 20 times...pac couldn't sign..it took some time to get rid of his fear of needles..it took some time to get rid of his need for the gap..and when did he agree to take the test with USADA???????

1. you mean Pac couldn't handle Mosley's bicycling skills (crap fight btw. HORRIBLE idea to fight mosley then)
2. did you actually see the clottey fight? or are you just like most haters who simply comment based on what other haters said? manny purposefully opened himself to be hit in order to goad clottey to fight. the guy clammed up practically the whole time and simply refused to engage.
3. no doubt, Floyd would be manny's most difficult opponent ever, next to Martinez at 154. (no point in fighting him at 150 since even if he wins against martinez, people would only say he was drained)Comment

there was/is no contract. once one side makes a counter offer, the contract does not exist. a counter offer counts as a renegotiation. and this is not roaches job, so why someone would talk to him about it is beyond me. hes goos at boxing and teaching it. let him stick to that.Comment
