So many boxing writers considering him to have had the talent and will to be the best featherweight boxer of all time if he had not died is just because he died right?

You mean the Azumah Nelson that knocked out Wilfredo Gomez?

So the left hooks and right hands that Sanchez hit Nelson with cleanly, had nothing to do with it?

You are an imbecile, please stop......just stop. You're making yourself look like an even bigger idiot than we already know you are.

Here's a little something I thought you would like.....................................

All I know is, I love the hate between Cotto and Margarito...this fight is going to be good.

In the past 15 years I would say the biggest rivalry was DLH-Trinidad. And technically Margarito is Mexican American, wasn't he born in the states? I know he practically grew up in Mexico but I don't see why some Mexicans embrace Margarito more than De La Hoya.

Any way Cotto-Margarito 2 should be good but I don't think its going to be nearly as big an event as DLH-Trinidad was.

Maybe you should take a look at my responce. Have you ever seen margs representing the US?
De la hoya was in the US olimpic squad

Doesnt Cotto being born in Rhode Island instead of Puerto Rico remove him from the mix? Just saying! Margarito was born in Torrance CA, U.S. but he is viewed as Mexican and Cotto as rican even though both of them were not born on the land that they have come to represent so to me it makes no sense. You cant have it both ways. Either Oscar,Margarito,Vargas, are ALL Mexican or they are not and Cotto,John Ruiz and other fighters like them that werent born on the island are either still rican or they are not. At what point do you draw the line?

To me you are what you want to be and if you are proud of being a certain ethnic background even in another country then you are what you want to be.

To me Oscar is a mexican, Vargas is a mexican, Margarito is a mexican and Cotto is rican just like I consider anybody of rican descent whether they were born on the island or not a rican unless they distance themselves from their roots then thats when I consider them something else like an american.

Cotto moved to PR before he was 2 years old and represented Puerto Rico in the Olympics. He also lives in PR and both his parents are Rican. De La Hoya and Vargas live in the USA and in Oscar case in PR for a while, they both represented USA in the amateurs and from what I understand have never lived in Mexico.

De La Hoya and Vargas are American with Mexican heritage but in the end they are American. Cotto and Margarito were born in the US but they lived most of their lives in Puerto Rico and Mexico.

                    Just my 2 cents.
