I don't believe he's learned that yet,and tbh if he has it will go away under the pressure of Marga's...

I bet he'll go for an early KO.

This fight my be a reverse of the typical Margo fight.

The longer the fight goes the worst that might be for Margo.

If I'm training Cotto, I tell Cotto to take his time use your jab primarily for the first 3 or 4 rounds. The occasional left hook. No exchanges. Stay in the middle of the ring.

After 5 do your thing and try and push Margo back. I think Margo will start slowing down after the 5th round.

Cotto punishes him and wins a 12 round Decision.

      My 2 cents.

But who am I? I just called Litzua beating Cab and Kirkland beating Angulo down to the round.
      You ****ing badass, you.

      Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

Also Cotto was hitting Marg with EVERY PUNCH POSSIBLE and Marg didn't budge, which had Cotto very discouraged. Cotto can't look to KO Marg. he needs to outbox him, and I hope Cotto is doing plenty of roadwork, specifically running backwards because he will need it. Styles make fights, and a high volume pressure fighter that has a good chin seems to bother Cotto

        that was awesome

i like both guys, i wish that whoever loses gets knocked out quick but the sad part is neither guy is a one hit nuclear wipeout kind of puncher. this will be a bloody, bloody, two way massacre - i hope neither guy gets hurt too bad and gets permanently injured.

that being sad, this fight is going to be great.

I think Cotto got this one in the bag. I'm pretty sure he will take Rito to school like he did to Mayorga...
          I started laughing right there.

Really? I think you have to see it again. Cotto was having a field day those firsts rounds.

You obviously didn't pay attention to what Margarito was doing then if you're that blind to see how the first couple of rounds were turning up. Cotto was taking so much damage to the body AND those rounds were competitive, not the "outclassed" that you Cotto fanatics seem to mention.

Oh he (cheato) landed some good punches during those first rounds, but Cotto pretty much won them all and landed some big bombs that I seriously doubt that Rito could handle now.

He was beating him for sure, but punishment is not the word to describe that.

In order for Cotto to put the punishment on Margarito that he did in the first fight. He will need to spend the energy attacking and moving which ultimately had him gassed in the first place. This is incredibly dangerous for Cotto. People are really blowing their loads over this whole Margarito is ruined thing. The guy has not shown himself to be ruined yet.

You're right. But damn he landed some clean punches that would've at least hurt any other fighter. IMO Margarito's legendary chin has been damaged and he's ready to get KTFO.
