Although Mayorga and Margarito have similar styles, the main difference is STAMINA and CONDITIONING. Let's just say Marg didn't have plaster in his gloves for the first fight, Marg was able to pull ahead because his STAMINA and CONDITIONING was better than Cottos. Also Cotto was hitting Marg with EVERY PUNCH POSSIBLE and Marg didn't budge, which had Cotto very discouraged. Cotto can't look to KO Marg. he needs to outbox him, and I hope Cotto is doing plenty of roadwork, specifically running backwards because he will need it. Styles make fights, and a high volume pressure fighter that has a good chin seems to bother Cotto

Cotto was hitting Marg at will but he was doing so going backwards. If he goes and takes the fight to the center of the ring and moves to the sides instead of backwards, he will tag Rito all night and possibly stop him imo.

Marg has a psychological advantage over Cotto. A HUGE one. If your a big undefeated champion, and another man knocks you out, you just might never be the same. Cotto has probably had nightmares about July 26th 2008. Well see if Cotto can put that to rest.

its possible think about it cotto of 2008 when he was more aggressive threw all his arsenal of attacks and flurries and could not take margarito down with it, fast forward 3 years cotto has lost twice now but cameback and marg was KOd by mosley and then hammered by pac but then again cotto does not move as quick as pac or hits as hard as mosley or have the chin of mosley....but i dont know then again marg still has something left in the tank so its an unpredictable fight if you ask me due to the circumstances, changes and new trainers

As far as I'm concerned Margo took so much damage in their first fight that they canceled a match cause he needed more time to heal and it took a while to sign the Mosley fight cause Margo was MIA for a little bit.

Don't know where they have here as Margo as a big puncher. He is a volume puncher that walks you down. Cotto has to hold on occassions and block in the pocket.

True. But I think this version of Marg wont be able to hold up, he's just too slow and innacurate. Cotto just has to change all the running backwards he did in the first fight.
