Jeff Mayweather saying Pacquiao vs Marquez III should be just as tough as their last fight in effect suggests both boxers are the same fighters that they were in their last fight four years ago. And that if Pac won by a blowout fans would be just as scared as Floyd of Pac and demand random testing B.S. If that's not a dumb opinion it could only be dumber. Celestino Caballero would be well advised to go shopping for a new trainer.

i hear you bro, i dont understand how people can say the third fight will the like the first two...first of all, marquez is basically the same fight, same style, but older...on the other hand, pac is now two handed puncher, uses his jabs more, and his combos have become more in combinations of 3 or more, and that pac also now uses the ring and goes in and out/side to side footwork...so i dont see how the first pac (that used to do more brawling than anything, didnt use the ring effectively, didnt have a jab to speak of, and didnt really use his right hand as much) come even close to being the pac of the present.

people say styles makes fight...so its going to be the same fight again...but to me, if pac boxes and uses the ring like he did against delahoya, basically just jabbing and throwing combos when the opening is there, i dont see how the third fight will look anywhere close like the first two

Even forgetting the indirect allegation, why would it be so questionable for this weekend's fight to play out different from the previous two? Pac hasn't lost more than five rounds in six fights at 140 and higher; Marquez is approaching the twilight of his career and fighting nearly two divisions above his highest effective weight. Not to mention the fact that we're talking about a trilogy that has spanned seven years and 18 lb. in official fighting weight.

It's just as easy to question how a 5'11" fighter like Caballero - now 35 y/o on top of that - can actively campaign at 126 (after years at 122) without struggling too much to make weight.

The article clearly says that the fight hasn't happened twice because of Pac's refusal to take PED tests.

Otherwise, I think Pac blows out Marquez because of JMM's age/slippage because Pac has seemed to be on roids since he left the 112 lb division-- where he got blown out by a much smaller, former 108 lber.

That's because Floyd always showed the same level of talent. Pac never showed the talent he displays now. He was a former 112 lber(@ 21 years old) getting steamrolled by a smaller, mediocre former 108 lber and then he suddenly moves up 9 divisions and begins steamrolling the world's best. If you can't see that then you're obviously making emotional judgements.
