Frazier hadn't forgotten. Ali hurt Frazier for life. If you watch the documentary I've seen and hear Frazier himself, you'll know.

As far as what he's done in his life, he's a true inspiration. Fought against a fxcked nation for his beliefs and was imprisoned. Why should he have fought for a country where he didn't even have the right to eat at a restaurant after winning a fuxking gold medal for them.
it went farther than that with Joe

RIP Joe. Some get sad when someone they love or respect passes. It depends on the terms with me. I'm not sad that Joe is dead, I'm sad that he's gone. It's hard to live with cancer. He's probably happy now. Joe was a Godfearing man. He's probably sitting at a table with God telling him about his fights & their both waiting for the other atg's that are tired of living, God bless.

Ali should thank God that Frazier FINALLY (he put it on record earlier this year that his anger towards Ali is no more and is friends again with Ali) forgave your ass. Frazier helped you financially and morally when you weren't able to box and in return you made him into a hated symbol among the AA community. To this day my granduncle still calls Smokin Joe "uncle tom".

RIP Smokin Joe.... a true champ!

smokin joe was hurting and carrying that hate for decades... ali REALLY did some damage emotionally to frazier. hopefully joe found peace before he passed.

frazier was a WARRIOR... dude fought blind and wouldve beaten ali AGAIN if futch didnt stop it.

im glad kirkland/angulo served as a tribute to joe and all the fallen FIGHTERS who left it all in the ring.

Hes stated he was wrong for calling joe an uncle tom for several years now. It took Joe an extra 30 odd years to forgive ali. In fact it was Joe who actually became bitter later on and bragged that he was responsible for Alis Parkinsons. I am happy that he was at least able to forgive Ali towards the end and bury their feud.
of course ali was over their feud, it was him who was insulting joe, and he won the trilogie, so why should he be bitter. no wonder that frazier was bitter. I respect ali as a boxer, and i respect some of his courage outside of the ring. But as a human being i dislike him.
