who else is there to fight for pac at welterweight? yah sure, martinez would be great, but the weight difference is too much, even against margarito the weight that marqarito had on him would be like a light light heavyweight punching martinez...lets see martinez take punches from the best light heavyweight...
berto...he is so over rated, lost to ortiz and dont even have atleast half a dozen notable wins...ortiz? even tho he beat berto, ortiz lack experience, and doesnt really use the ring smartly...pac wil beat ortiz much worse than did the fraud, and thats without the use of a sucker punch.

so really, theres no welterweight outside of the fraud...i say another fight with cotto at jr middleweight, with no catchweight...if pac beats cotto, i'd love for pac to fight the other belt holders at 154...then retire if the fraud still wont fight.

Don't believe this typical Arum bs. You won't see Pac in the ring with any of the fighters he mentioned, especially not Berto or Mike Jones. Pac's next fight will be a rematch with Cotto or Morales in all likelihood. It could "possibly" be Bradley because Arum will force the issue because it is a win win for him. Pac won't be matched against a fast, slick black american fighter unless it is a Top Rank one. Don't believe any of this Mayweather hype bs either because even if Floyd agrees to it, Arum will not let it happen. Unless you are old, small, shot, or slow (or combinations of these), you won't be put in the ring against Pac. You won't even see Ortiz in the ring with him because he is too young, strong and aggressive. Pac's domination of the sport has been orchestrated over the last 2-3 years because of the careful selection of opponents. All of Pac's camp realize that at this point, he has been made to be indestructible by his fans and the media so 1 loss, brings it all crashing down. No one is going to risk losing the gravy train and all the $ lost from losing, because he has an entire country and fanatical ethnic base behind him. A lot of my posts may seem like I hate Pac or having something against him...and I do not. I like Pac as a fighter and I think he is a warrior and will fight anyone, it is Roach and Arum who I blame for how things are.

Rios is a 135lber with his career ahead of him. He's also too easy to hit. That fight would prove nothing.

I don't care for Bradley at all. He's a very dirty fighter.

Berto needs to avenge his loss to Ortiz.

The only fights that makes sense aside from Mayweather are Amir Khan and Timothy Bradley.

Meanwhile, Mike Jones is one of the most precious feed for Pacquiao. Arum is decorating while protecting him at the same time only to match him with Pac. This guy is a bum. He doesn't even won any world title.
well, the many pac haters say pac should fight martinez?
but hate on a gamboa vs pac fight?
the weight difference for a pac/gamboa will be closer to being equal than a pac/martinez...

just because gamboa fights at 126 doesnt mean ****...cuz gamboas fight nite weight will be closer to pac than pac vs martinez...if all is good for a pac/martinez, i dont see anything wrong with a pac/gamboa...besides, didnt gamboa say he wouldnt mind fight pac just recently?

Martinez fights at 160, Pacquiao at 147 ... Last time I checked Martinez wasn't even at 160 vs Barker, he was around 158 so he fights around that weight, not at 176 as a lot of guys say, he's not that big. Pacquiao weights around 145, so the normal difference between them is around 10-12 pounds.

            Gamboa fights at 126 ... that's all....

agreed 100%. a carefully created phenom that has never faced any real threat. save for marquez. they thought JMM would fight in the mexican style of take two to give one and balls to the wall. but they didnt know JMM was a master tactician who can change fight plans on the fly. i do think pac would fight any one. and i know arum and roach are watching to ensure he only fights a certain style.

martinez's fight nite weight is closer to 170 than the 160 limit.
dont fool yourself that martinez fights closer to his official weigh-in of 158 vs his fight nite weight...i can garantee u that martinez's fight nite weight is closer to 170 than 158 or 160.
just as pacs fight nite weight is around 145...so about 25lbs difference if martinez fight nite weight is 170, or a 20lb difference if martinez's fight nite weight is 165

Pacs fight night weight is 150. Martinez is 165. Jus saying. Do you even watch their fights or do you just make up numbers

Assuming Mayweather is unavailable? Why would he be? Come on Bob please make a REAL effort to make the fight. He never seems optimistic or as if he even wants the fight to happen, it's always reasons why the fight might not happen - as if he is a psychic.
