Holy crap I think the change to this trainer was a good idea.

Wish I knew what the trainer was saying.

Can we get a rough translation?
He says, Cotto presened some tactical deficiencies, that they are correcting, and that they showed on the first fight with Margo.

He also talks about the most important thing for a fighter is his legs. And that they are working on tha with Cotto and the cordination of his legs, with his torso and his arms!!

He talks about how good the sparring has been with Rubio and that they are bring another dude from Canada who is very strong to spar with Cotto,

Diaz says that he has seen couple of mistakes that Cotto did vs Margo that he wont discuss in the interview, but that he is correcting.

At the end he says that he feels that a big family has been formed, and the team is great. Psycologically and emotionally the team is ready and most important Cotto is ready!

1)He said Cotto had a good 1st fight but that he committed some technical mistakes that they are working on but he won't say what they are.

2)He says that the legs are the most important thing for a boxer and that they're working hard on them.

3)That Canadian prospect Kevin Bizier is coming in next week to join Rubio as Cotto's sparring mates

4)He doesn't like to make predictions on KO's, that they are working to win the 12 rds

BTW the part were Cotto is spinning like the wonder woman is a technique he uses so Cotto gets dizzy from all the spins and then spars with Rubio to simulate fighting while hurt.

I like how Cotto hit the mitts and then pushed him when he was getting to close.

He did a great job of it in the first fight but he gassed out and got hit way too much bricks or not. I understand its just a 3 minute video but if those were the highlights I'm a lot more worried. I think Cotto will come out in fantastic condition but he still wouldn't last 12 rounds doing that... I still think Cotto's got this but I'm thinking like 55-45.
are you serious? as soon as cotto gets in the ropes the trainer shouts get away from the ropes fast!

Yeap, and they work on clinching and to clinch and hit!

And the straight right hand to the body, wich Cotto has realy used!

I’m surprised there was no emphasis on learning to hold his opponent on the inside as well as heavier emphasis on the jab.

Cotto needs to keep this fight in the center of the ring with a consistent jab, less foot work and learning to hold. If there was any blueprint to conserve energy while being actually effective they should be using the Mosley scrap as an example not the first fight with Tony…
